I got the convertible version because it closely resembled the Cuda 340 ragtop that lived down the street from me when I was a kid in the 70s. That one was a bit more optioned since it had a Shaker hood and a rear wing. Almost positive it had the little winglets on the front as well. I loved that car.

Hello. Amazing details for such a little diecast model (1/64): working suspension and accessories. I really like functional/working suspensions on original muscle cars and off road vehicles (diecast models). It makes a lot of sence on vehicles like this in my opinion. Since yesterday I received my ordered 1:18 Highway61 1971 Dodge Challenger 472 cui Hemi Super Street in sublime green. So much amazing details on this model: working suspension and driveshaft + floor in velor inside of the model + the stroker HEMI-engine + .... This is for me a dreamcar as a diecast model and much more as real car. Best regards Chris

Wait what, made in indonesia ? As indonesian i've never heard diecast production such as Acme even manufactured in indonesia, even try to find acme 1:18 is such a really hard in local store/marketplace, overseas pre-order is the only way, and i just pre-order k5 blazer mustard-white offroad version Restomod acme/gmp nowadays is quite bad for the rims/wheels, the caliper will spin along with the wheel. I have old gmp 1970 gto indian knafel, the caliper stay if spin the wheel

I have 5 assorted Maisto Wranglers from Costco and they are well done for $22.00. They really should do the JLs as well. I'd love to have a Firecracker Red 4 door Sahara 4XE to match our 1:1. Even a non-4XE would be close enough. Otto's are 9X the price and look great but don't open.

Maisto has always excelled with Jeeps. That's why I felt let down when they released their Broncos... Oh well. Hopefully they'll do some JLs in the future, get more current.

A4 Silver wasn't available on the '70 GTX. It was dropped after '69, and only 3 cars were special ordered in A4 Silver. I wondered how come I didn't remember see a '70 GTX in A4 Silver, so I looked and found out why? 🧏♂️
@DiecastNewb17 күн бұрын
Correct and that's why the outer GMP box has that special code of "999" with the color. The factory inserted "999" for the paint code when non standard colors where ordered. So yeah, not an "official" color for this guy. But it does look good. Thanks!

There've been different versions of this Charger from different makers, and I never know which one is the more legit one. What are your thoughts on that?
@DiecastNewb17 күн бұрын
Well, I think all of the releases are legit in terms of having permission/license to use the FnF name. Ertl released these via their Racing Champions, American Muscle and Joyride lines. I think that the Joyride version was their first release. Then Hot Wheels did their take as well as Greenlight. In terms of lineage, Ertl releases, especially the Joyride line, is probably the most "legit". I think they go for high $$$ on eBay nowadays. But that's just my take on these. 😊 Thanks!

Hello. I wish you and your family a happy new year with a lot of luck and health. This is a really nice ACME model. The red interior with all the details is a big plus for me. The front of this truck is also a highlight with the perforated grill. I normally also only collect original diecast muscle cars in 1/18 scale, but two days ago I bought myself the 1/18 AutoWorld 1958 Plymouth Fury Christine (partically restored). The weathered and dusty paint job on this model is amazing. The model looks also underneath and inside (interior) weathered and dusty + working headlights + "carpet" inside the car + wired and nicely detailed engine. One of the best AutoWorld diecast models for me now. Best regards Chris

my biggest gripe with this one is how much the grille and lights stick out, they should be more sunk in like on the real car. i think the chrome striping on the lightsmakes it even more apparent, probably a good idea to paint those over in black
