Thanks for the vid, i just got the news i have to get this procedure done and im a super active 15 yo girl and im super nervous about it. Please give me a heads up on how the recovery is going to go. God bless

Hello! I am getting my labral reconstruction here in about 6 days with Dr White as well! How are u recovering now so much later? and also any tips you can give to me to prepare! Thank you!

I have to have this surgery but it will be longer because I have to have 2 done at the same time and the only thing I'm worried about is the catheter and I'm wondering did they do yours while you were under or we're you were awake?

ahhh! just now seeing this... they did both hips at the same time on yours? ouchhhhh. how'd it go? catheter was put in while i was under. taken out while awake

How are you doing now? I am supposed to have the PAO on both sides with Dr.Swann and labral reconstruction with Dr. White. Really terrified

No worries! It turns out I only need the PAO on the right but labral reconsideration on both. I have my first scope on the 18th

@@thewoolverine4420 same!! I had left pao and recon and I'm having my right hip done in Oct and it's just a recon

@@yarnpoe I'm so glad we only have to do the big one once. A friend of mine did her first one about three months ago, second recon and PAO is in December. She's got a little baby at home too so she's having a lot of mom guilt. She's helped me so much with knowing what to expect. I'm nervous, but so excited to have this pain go away.

Were your labral reconstruction and reverse PAO surgeries within days of each other??

Congrats on your first week! You are doing great. The first two weeks are the worst. To be honest, the first twelve weeks were hard but you will get through it! My worst weeks were when I switched to weight bearing. The oxycodone gave me the worst nausea.
