You mentioned that the OFCCP guidelines are that an federal contractor can’t discriminate on the basis of age. Is this true because as I read the law the ADEA is not covered.

Good point about the AI needing to focus on skills and understanding 1 billion+ career trajectories (how people progressed), in addressing privacy and security concerns.

Some very frank discussion about a tough topic, on employing AI in a responsible way while benefitting from the innovation. Issues around privacy, regulation of course, objectivity, etc. all come into play. A nice introductory clip to what is a series on this issue of responsible AI.

Great video - thank you! It's intersting seeing the North American market start to become more interested in the benefits of short term contracts to fill resource gaps / needs. This has been very common in the UK for the last couple of decades at least. I work as a contractor and I love it - it suits my work (HR Transformation & Systems Projects), but I think organisations should make sure their Strategic Workforce Plan and "blended resource plans" account for the fact that Gig Workers, Temp Agency Workers, Consultants and Individual Contractors / Personal Service Companies are all quite distinct. A point also on budgets; for some of the mentioned worker types, there is a market expectation (in the UK at least!) for the short term nature of the work to be compensated for via increased hourly / daily rates of pay compared with the fully loaded cost of a permanent member of staff.

This would be helpful if it were supported by examples of anyone who created an employee engagement transformation that impacted business metrics. Has "FAIR" replaced "QUALIFIED" as a selection criterion? It seems so. HR has almost no standing to force change on disinterested leadership, thus the near total absence of studies or research citing examples of a DEI initiative transforming business metrics. What could a DEI team use to justify the investment beyond "it seems reasonable for a company with a DEI problem? If DEI were a thing, CEOs, Boards and investors would be all over this subject. It's straightforward, some companies get it, but those that don't are still successful.

This subject has been researched to death, and there's no end in sight. Here's a refreshing idea, why not analyze examples of companies who have transformed their EE/EX. Citing successful companies and what they do has no bearing on changing EE/EX at other companies. Despite the exponential growth of EE/EX tools, research, and experts, there's no research supporting that an EE/EX initiative has had a meaningful impact on business metrics. You can't sell EE/EX to CEOs because you have no data supporting what the CEO can expect in terms of improved business metrics if they were to become involved. Here's what can happen when the CEO is sold on the benefits of EE/EX and becomes involved. At the time of this project, the company stock was $18; it closed last week at $104. The point of this comment is the near-total lack of evidence that the ubiquitous employee experience/engagement research has impacted worldwide engagement. At some point, someone has to actually do something and that's not happening, conflating research with results is the elephant in the room. This isn't a sales pitch; I've closed the business. Culture change begins with the CEO and officers agreeing on a description of their current culture. I've tried that for over 25 years, and it's always embarrassing. You can't change culture until you define the starting point. chiefexecutive.net/employee-engagement-ceos-actually-listening/

I have 1 question please give answer. You have coded the feature like only Computer science student will take software engineer job means on the basis of degree. What if someone is self taught software developer and want to work but AI will not qualify me because I didn't have degree then how u will solve this problem. I have created portfolio but didn't have CS degree but SELF TAUGHT Software engineer.
