Yep, a twin will hide sometimes. When I had my twins there were no sonar-grams at all! My first doctor said I would give birth to a baby in the middle of October. My full sized baby twins weren't born until the middle of the January. By the end of November the three of us had an xray to solve the mystery, as to why is was pregnant s long. The xray wouldn't cause any trouble for the baby. Doctors could tell, not only were there twins, but they weren't ready to hatch. The xray did cause a lot of happy chaos though, discovering there were TWINS! Neither of them were hiding though. .....well, ok....... they were both hiding a little while. lol !
