The lyrics can easily be interpreted as an anti-Amber Heard song even though it is about Hetfield's alcohol addiction. Amber Heard was like a drug addiction for Depp, because Amber is fucking crazy he would have been getting the best sex of his life but was ruining his life for that high.

I don't understand why some people hate this album; the lyrics are insanely good, the riffs original, the sound is garage but it was meant to be that way and it is still great music, and the overall album has a very distinctive personality, plus it's really heavy 🤘. I'd take it a Million times over load-reload or garage inc.

I absolutely love that more and more people begin to come back to St. Anger and really appreciate it for what it is. Most of the hate that it got initially, I think, came from hardcore thrash fans who were bothered by the fact that it doesn't "sound like Metallica". But what right do any of us have to tell other people whether they should evolve or not?
