What complete nonsense!! Ron Howard was 6 years old when the show began and 11 when Don Knotts left the show. I hardly think he was concerned about being upstaged by or even had a competition with A GROWN MAN. This video is utter idiocy.

WITHOUT DON KNOTTS THIS SHOW WOULD HAVE BEEN A ZERO! ANYBODY COULD HAVE REPLACED RON HOWARD!

I have no respect for anyone who is not good to kids. Philanthropy on his part was just for his image. It’s the personal level that matters.

"Judge not, lest ye be judged." We only know what 2 of Mr. Crosby's sons stated!! To know the real truth, one needs to have all the sons' statements. Also, there are other variables that must be included in the observations of Mr. Crosby's personal life!! It might be best to temper personal judgment with divine mercy!! Don't you think?

Do people think that just because a celebrity gets famous, they are suddenly angels? If anything, they have more problems than ordinary people, because most are living a very secluded pressured life. They end up lonely and on substance of some type to deal with that.....

Humans practically worship famous people. it's gross
