it's not the fault of Note Music. but it was the Jazz note he inserted. 2:03 You hear that bass line and guitar solo, parallel. There is no mistake there. Maybe you heard it wrong.It seems that we have more knowledge of Music than you. 😆

Wow he's so incredibly good that one slightly off note is more remarkable in it's obscurity than playing shows with literally over one million notes every night on tour I am thankful that we're all lucky enough to witness this band in our lifetime. I feel like talented musicians only make this level of music every few hundred if not a thousand years could pass by

I was one of the lucky ones present at this Paris gig. Pretty funny everybody talked about that missed note, shows how rare it is for John Petrucci to fuck up. Despite that very rare hiccup from him, the rest of the show went just perfect (save for LaBrie). They were absolutely mindblowing.
@jackdelijser25515 күн бұрын
Nobody talks about the wrong notes of the singer🤔 completely ridiculous. If Petrucci played that much wrong notes , there wouldnt have been a DT anymore 10 years ago.

I saw Dream Theater about 20 years ago and during Endless Sacrifice he accidentally pressed the lead channel on his pedal instead of the clean channel. It was the quiet verse section of that song and his amp just rang a horrible loud dissonant distorted noise everywhere for 3 or so seconds until he realized he was on the wrong channel and switched it back ! 🤣 He and the rest of the band just laughed it off! Even the greatest make mistakes!

@EvilSkeltos4 күн бұрын
Well said! A true professional can immediately disregard these things and continue as though nothing even distracted them.... Not to mention most of the time nobody in the audience even noticed and could care less about it even if it's obvious to them.

Mano! Petrucci é tão foda que não importa um erro pequeno desse. Ele completou o solo com perfeição que a emoção nela nem te faz perceber o que houve... ,,🤘🤘

In this very same song, from Live at Budokan, there are bass mistakes, not edited. Tho, this is very apparent so I think it will be edited! This proves , that anyone, even Petrucci, DT and top class players, can and WILL make mistakes!

James comes out and ruins everything.....
@safelyanonymous5717Ай бұрын
considering his age I'm ok with James i know many love to bag on him but to me they really need to get back to less is more approach to music. We don't need to always hear JP play 160 miles an hour as mick marrs correctly stated its 'guitar diarrhea') at that speed. Also- love Jordan Rudess and we all know he is a wizard but not sure we need all of the keyboard Yoga up there with the marketing/branding on steroids. I know we live in a ADHD age but come on how about some respect to your audience. DT had a great LP with A Dramatic Turn of Events the stuff after that has been a bit weak in my view.
