But there's one thing: we asked and received permission for the use of those tracks. So in this case, can we use your songs? Note: I am just someone who plays the game. However, the base game itself is a commercial game and must be bought in order to create and play those custom levels. - You can permit all songs or only certain songs. We usually won't ask to use your remixes or songs you made exclusively for other games or projects to avoid issues with third-parties (unless you state otherwise or we already got permission from them). - Anyone who has bought the game can download the level from the Steam Workshop and can also use the song for their own custom levels. - In the Steam Workshop, users will be able to subscribe to custom level packages. The package will include your song’s audio file(in .ogg format), JSON sequence files, and other assets. Because of this, redistribution issues may arise. If you do not want your content to be redistributed, please feel free to declare explicitly. - In order to fit the gameplay, your song may be cut down or altered, for example removing some sections to make it shorter. The edits will be made reasonably, and will not significantly change or distort the characteristics of your song. An example may be simply removing a long intro or outro, or removing a repeated chorus to reduce the length of the level. You can deny permission for this type of modification specifically if you like. - We will credit you with the song title and artist name and will have a link (social media and/or store page) to you in the description of the level. - There's a chance that KZbinrs or Twitch streamers may upload videos featuring levels containing your songs.
