I think this may just be me, but this game almost feels kinda creepy. I think it is the slightly uncanny movements and the dark background and the eerily quiet nature that does it for me

I had the Commodore 16 plus 4 version of this game, it was similar, except for the absence of the match day screen, when you opted to play a match, the screen would immediately go to a results screen, featuring all the results of the day, which is a good thing really, playing a single match on the C64, and ZX Spectrum versions I found extremely slow and tedious. Even though I liked the game, it was more luck if you progressed through the leagues. Your team ratings were shown, alongside your opposition, but you'd frequently lose despite having a much stronger team. You had no control over tactics. It was frustrating to say the least, and in one instance, I actually broke my C16 plus 4 because I was so cheesed off with it

I once played as NZ and Glenn McGrath type batsman J.Kamen got 150, I cheated by exposing my stumps and flicking full power behind me most of the time.

Best game ever made still got this under my sons bed and a commodore 64 ..very hard game but if u put the hours in u can win everything only takes around 10 years😂

Solid game. I did a lot of solo play because my brother was getting older and going out a lot. The original football was 2 player only. Homerun was awful, bowling would get boring real quick. So this and ice hockey were my two main sports games.

It wasn't a nightmare. The commentary really was that bad with "KICK HIIIIIMMMM" and how can we forget "WHAT THE HECK?"

Chutiya game

Actually one of the best boxing simulations. It had practically everything : you could pick your own style, training regime and most importantly adapt to opponent. For example, one of the upper contenders was lightning fast (I think his name is Thunder Thompson) , so in first few rounds you would need to cover your face and endure beating until his stamina drops down, so you could retaliate. It took a lot of strategizing to get the title.

Just bought this today gonna play it later but can't believe how much screen tear is present 😔
