@@farahmolina3608I think it means playing the notes slightly sharp or slightly flat so H3 would be whatever normal 3 is (I don’t play Violin yet) but sharp. And L2 would be whatever normal 2 is but flat

@@farahmolina3608 that means if it's L1 your first finger will be farther away from you than 1 . It's between the end and one. And for H3 it's between 3 and 4.

High 3/third finger, so you slide your finger more towards yourself/higher on the board

H3 stands high 3 which is basically your third finger just in between your 4th finger and 3rd finger. If you are a beginner for those type of notes I recommend you use tapes on your violin.

I don't get it. Any violinist with the technique to play this nocturne has surely learned sheet music already, why would they need this? The synthesized sound is awful!

Well you see some people prefer violin tabs over actual sheeted notes. Some people may not be able to read the notes clearly enough so they find this circumstance easier, plus people with disabilities such as blindness. Just because you don't support this feature, doesn't mean you should cancel it out.
