how did you get them both to hold at once? I can't do it.l I tried pressing shift

You don't need to hold shift when selecting the 'record enable' button. Just select 'record enable' on each track where you want recording to happen.

Hey How’s it going . I’m not sure if this is a stupid question or not but I was wondering if you could use mic and guitar at same time without guitar spilling into mic track. I’m using Scarlett’s solo. I do see and tried mic mode , voice isolation. It does work but I can’t hear the guitar anymore when it’s turned on. Any idea how I can fix this ?

When I tried this One time I got through the process but when I tried to choose channels it said the track is already taken. Next time it would not let me choose a channel. I’m sure it;s me, I’m, old.

My plan is to connect 2 Xlr condenser mics to my focusrite 2i2, and the connect that to a MacBook Pro, and then record 2 vocal tracks on garage band. Can I record 2 xlr condenser mics at the same time?

Thanks for this. Nobody is doing videos for XLR inputs through an interface. When I've hooked up my mics, both dynamic mics through a MixPre 6, my tracks won't separate. As soon as I click the record enable button and the "monitoring" input, my main mic is on both tracks. It's driving me nuts. Any help?
