I heard about Tom Ford Oud Wood new batch doesn’t last long so I bought a decant & yes, it is. Only 3 to 4 hours. What about this Creed Royal Oud new batch, buddy?

@@nurawis1 I get a solid 7-8 hrs or home longevity depending on weather and how dry or oily my skin is. It’s perfect for fall and winter one of my go to fragrances for thanksgiving. It is peppery and smells way different from Oud wood but you get better longevity and silage with Royal Oud current batch Vs Oud Wood in its current formulation.

I picked up this exquisite lady yesterday. Her PRESENSE has haunted my memory from the first day I sniffed her at the perfume counter over a month ago. I haven't been able to forget her...Yesterday I finally made her mine... Costly (180.00) but she is the Grand Opus in my collection. Utterly..utterly ethereal and opaque.. The Iris and the Incense dance a beautiful tango together in the air.

I have a decant. It seems very linear on my tester strip. Maybe it would be better in skin. But it just has a very… perfumy? Smell? If that’s an acceptable adjective to use.

It works perfectly for the Summer too ..Just two sprays is good..the performer created this scent specifically for the warmer months of Sicily but most "experts" on KZbin forget that fact ..it's also a great signature scent as well..Just a masterpiece!

This smelled so sweet on tester strip and unisex that I wanted to wear it but when I sprayed some on that classic manly musk (oak moss and cedar) came rolling off my skin! Great substitute for someone who wants that classic masculine cologne that is not too much of a fougere. I really enjoy this on my bf but not for everyday use as I am a tobacco and gourmand girl!

Definitely not a safe blind buy for everyone as some don’t like the incense and Oud amber combo. But as they say wear what you love and wear what makes you happy! Fragrance is a wonderful mood supporter! That’s a cool way to explain some of its facets! Thanks for watching!

I got not a while ago amber aoud as a winter fragrance but interlude black iris has been on my radar a long time. I think it’s a shame to buy this one too as winters don’t last long over here. I sampled it today and I really liked it, could you pull it off in spring? Have you tried boundless?

Amber Aoud is wonderful! Great choice! :) I wear Interlude Black Iris in all seasons except summer mainly the really hot days so spring would be be a great time to pull it off. But I just adjust the sprays I wear. I wear less sprays the warmer it is. It’s a really nice scent to wear dressed up! Thank you so much for watching!

If I get interlude then I will sample boundless or material and get one of those too from the house. So far my favorite brand in terms of quality is Xerjoff. Even better than Roja. Let’s see if Amouage changes my mind😂

I love how the herbaceous and oud unite to activate the senses. I have been into fragrances for over a year, my pallet has begun to appreciate fugere now and this is so fun to smell!
