28 years old and all my doctors have ever done is made me worse... sad that I've had to give up on the medical industry. KZbin and channels like this have basically been the only way to protect myself. Then doctors get offended when I'm like actually id rather do this. "Well I didn't just graduate for no reason" or "ive been in medicine sense before you were born i know more than you"

Ita crazy how much we have to advocate for self and are met with so much resistance
@yourlocalnormy359615 күн бұрын
@@CultivatingJoyWithin a lot of "so you heard it on the internet? Well I actually went to school, did they?". Like okay, and you haven't even tested me for anything. Just really sad and frustrating overall 😪

do down gliding mean to move the spine that is below the problem join ? to the other direction?
@debrussell49212 ай бұрын
Our muscles are trying to hold us together... the ligaments and tendons arent doing the work and the spine loses the battle. Neck pain my whole life, felt it as a little kid. Ehlers-Danlos sucks

At the 00:18 mark what do you mean by inability to flex the lumbar spine? I mean in regards to the upper and strength? Should we be flexing/rounding the lumbar spine before we begin to lift the head and upper back off of the floor? Thank you so much in advance. Love the video.

ive been having this issue for almost 6 months, the side pinky toe bone like you showed in the video is the part that hurts, and makes the top of my foot hurt even feels like burning pain, i did ultra sound they said the tendons are inflated, i did multiple physio sessions only made it worse, i was feeling the pain when i was wearing tight shoes, the summer came around and i stopped wearing shoes completely was wearing my birkin stock slippers for a few month the pain almost went away but i got back into working as an electrician always standing on ladders made the pain come back, and now im noticing similar pain on top of the other food but very mildly, don't know what the issue is or what i can do to fix this, fam doctor has no clue, physio lady also clueless just made it worse, orthotic guys seems like he doesn't know what the issue can be also, im literally worries im only 36 and not sure what to do, i am very active and always in the gym although i dont think that has anything to do with it, but now its effecting my performance and i have to go easy on it even when i kneel down and my foot bends i can feel the pain, is there anything you could recommend? would be great ive watched many videos and this is the closet thing ive come across

you ara a great teacher, , new sub here! I feel more comfortable manipulating people with short necks, but actually my girfriend is skinny and has a long neck, do you have a particular technique for long necks? any pointers will be helpful. She´s become more untrusty due to losing the lock and not getting the adjustment, plus she gets tense and while i think i got the lock, I didn´t have it in the first place. So it´s a vicious circle. (I might go to the zoo and practice with a giraffe first, jk)

So that down glide & up glide looks like you’re rotating his head but in actuality you’re not?
@bodyworkdojo6 ай бұрын
Downglides and upglides induce rotation naturally
@mrhmd83086 ай бұрын
So an arthrokinematic motion of downglide + upglide produces an orthokinematic motion of head rotation? Great videos/ instruction. Thanks
@bodyworkdojo6 ай бұрын
Up/downglides induce rotation and osteokinematic rotation produces up on one side and down on the other. They occur together.

The soles are curved for sure, but some more than others. A straight "last" is best for pronators, and a more curved last is best for supinators.
