I do hate it when people criticize metal music because of how they think rockstars are all “terrible people”. I think it’s insane. One reason I love Slipknot is because of who they are as people. That’s why I like a lot of other metal bands. Some of the nicest people ever where rockstars like Chester Bennington and Paul Gray, who sadly where overcame by their issues. These are the kind of people we need in this world and they tend to be the ones we lose sooner. Metal music to me, helps deal with issues in my life and I really can connect with this music and there’s so many people who don’t understand the significance of this kind of music that it has on people. Corey is definitely someone who I can relate to because for me, I have felt very rejected socially which lead to me turning to vaping. I don’t do it now, but looking back in that moment, I was so low in my life that I needed to reconsider how I live my life. Slipknot helps me in life with anger.
