Awesome video guys! Hope you are enjoying my native city Ica. It's also known as the grape city, you guys can have a wine tour in "El Catador". Also you guys can visit the "Ballestas Island", you can do the tour in boat. In the southermost point of Ica, you can visit the "Nazca's Lines" worldwide known. Oh and dont forget to try the "pallares con pescado" and the "carapulcra con sopa seca", the most popular dishes of Ica.

Hope you enjoy your trip in Lima, let me tell you that Uber from the airport and those sandwiches in La Lucha are too expensive haha, definately "airport prices". If you can, visit Ica in the south of Lima. You can do sandboard, visit Huacachina, visit the Ballestas Island, and more. It is sunnier than Lima too.

It was the only place open in the airport apart from McDonald's, but they were delicious! No regrets. Yes, we'll be visiting Ica soon! Thanks for watching :)

Hello. Thank you for the time an effort you put into the video. I have a few questions. What time of night did you do the night walk? I see buses yet I also saw a trolley. Do you have any information about the trolley? I didn't see many street dogs like I've seen in other cities. Do you know if there's many? Did you come up on very many expats on your walk? Do you happen to know what time of night things start closing down?
@TingoTangoTravels
@TingoTangoTravels 24 күн бұрын
Hi! We filmed the video around 7-8 pm. For the trolley there's many companies, they cost around 140 pesos(7.66 USD) per person, the tours last around 1 hour or more, they take you to many touristic spots. But Guanajuato is a small city you could easily do it walking and explore at the same time most of the alleys. There's street dogs around, but they're friendly and well taken care, some of them chill in the main Plaza. There's a community of expats but is small compared to San Miguel de Allende, still you will encounter many tourists all year long. The stores close around 8-10 pm, but restaurants and bars close way later. Thanks for watching! 😊

Well, seems that you both had a great time in La Fortuna, great. I haven´t been like in at least 9 years and find the activity in La Fortuna itself a bit frenetic, it has changed hugely in the last 30 years, since the first time I went (the volcano was active then, going into the national park you could see the burnt trees and ruins from the huge eruption of 1968, when it came into activity. You could the stones going down the western side of the volcano and volcanic rings. The sounds from the volcano were terrifying. Very interesting, too) and, if getting back, like you, I would be looking for more quiet, serene activities and places to stay.

Great video, I loved it. Some days ago I spent the end of the year vacations at Monteverde, and we had a cold front in the country, so it was way rainier and windier, but the experience was great. Among other things, I managed to visit both reserves (the Monteverde and Santa Elena ones), do canopy, visit a butterfly garden, do a night tour in an area near the town of Santa Elena (we even saw sloths) and hike between every place.

Another video I've seen, another video I've liked. In San José I would also recommend the Museo de Jade (Jade Museum), the Museo Nacional (National Museum), the Museo de Arte Costarricense (Costa Rican Art Museum, specially for its Salón Ferón), a quick visit to the Centro Nacional de la Cultura (National Cultural Center, located in the buildings of the former Liquor National Factory, in one of the buildings is the Contemporary Art Museum, but it is really worthy only if you are into conceptual art and similar art currents) and wandering around the areas of parks from Parque Morazán to Parque España and then Parque Nacional (I think you visited part of that) and the Atlantic Railroad Station, a stroll around Barrio Amón, Barrio Otoya and Barrio Aranjuez (the neighborhoods of the rich, in the past) and walking from Parque Nacional to the south along the Ricardo Jiménez boulevard and visiting. Not so safe to go there on your own, but with a guide can be excellent, barrio México and barrio Luján, which were more workers' neighborhoods, but have lots of victorian, neocolonial and Art Déco architecture. Also the area around the Carmen church and the Post Office has a significant amount of heritage.

Well, it seems that you started your experience very well. As someone said in another comment, try other typical Costa Ricans foods, the variety is amazing, it always frustrates me that people who visit in almost all videos always try chifrijo, casado, gallo pinto and go out with the impression that is it: there are many many other dishes: from picadillos, soups, desserts, tortillas, breads, etc, that it would be great that you tried. Additionally, in Guanacaste (and specially in the Nicoya peninsula, one of the few "Blue Zones" in the world) they have their own culinary tradition, which is more corn-oriented and also delicious. And in the Caribbean coast the mix brough by the Afro-Caribbean population also made for a (very different) culinary traditions and food there is also amazing, even fried chicken with a Caribbean taste is really different. Besides, in the indigeneous territories they also have their own dishes. Regarding places, the Zona de los Santos (Tarrazú, Dota and León Cortés municipalities), Naranjo and Turrialba (try visiting the town of Aquiares) are coffee-rich zones where the coffee you get is of celestial quality. Other likes of traditional produce or products that are special from some places: cheese in Turrialba or Zarcero, pejibayes in Tucurrique, strawberries in the area around the Poás volcano, chicharrones in Puriscal, tropical fruits from dry weather (like melons, mangoes, etc) in Orotina, oranges in Acosta municipality, soursops in the Southeastern part of the country, fish and shrimps from Puntarenas, Coyol "wine" at Guanacaste province, etc.

@@MiguelGonzalez-ni8dy If that is true, you can file a complaint and the restaurant will do very badly for doing that. If you have any evidence such as a testimony from a worker, it is a fact that the law applies to you.
