You need to complete all other what ifs in this Goku Black episode too in order to achieve the trophy. For me even though I done the other what ifs, I did not get the trophy until after I’ve completed this 🙏🏻 Hope this helps

Yes, The original path is to actually waste time fighting Goku (in this video), but most people like me at first defeated them quickly which unlocks the alternate path

He knew Terra fell to darkness because he heard Aqua and Ven talking about that. Other than that, he simply addressed his heart directly and since Terra-Xehanort had previously destroyed the Lingering Will, Terra had enough strength to stand up against him.

That's...not Roxas. Roxas is two years old. Ventus here is from the age of fairytales. My dude, he is up there in the multi-millenia in terms of age. Older even than Xehanort. Who... well, watch a video about Union X. It's a trip.

Remind came out before your comment and explained why aqua froze up. And it wasn't random. The scene couldn't portray it right, but the whole scene when everyone died was supposed to be happening a lot faster than was shown, and sora dying at the end set up the ending of 3. After he abused the power of waking to revive everyone, he was told he can't do that. That it will destroy him. He was also warned about time travel in ddd. And he did it all anyway. Which led to him vanishing. Kairi was always going to die somehow, as xehanort knew this is how to get to sora. How to make the hero make mistakes in rage, or even, fall to darkness. It's villain 101. They had to bring them, sadly. As this whole section of the story was fortold, that is was the whole point of the chess match we kept seeing. Sora running into oblivion for Kairi again, still shows how he thinks with his heart over actually using his brain. Just like in kh1, 2, and ddd. In kh2, if sora was told Riku was in some shady building that was clearly a trap, he'd run straight in without thinking. And Kairi didn't fight in 2. She swung her keyblade like 3 times then got pounced and had to be saved, and then she stood on the sidelines till the game was over.

Probably has to do with how all the components that made up Terra was literally split up; his mind/soul became Lingering Will, the body became Terra-Xehanort (Xemnas as a Nobody), and the heart became the Guardian in an attempt to imprison it and give Xehanort control over him (with the Guardian's body being made of Terra's darkness). My theory is that when the Lingering Will eventually perished during their rematch, what happened is that the mind reconstituted together with Terra's heart, and now that both heart and mind were together again, the Guardian (AKA Terra's heart) now had an ego again and could put up a much more conscious resistance against Xehanort's influence.

@@Folutu interesting theory but if I recall in kingdom hearts 2 even lingering will didn’t think sora was a friendly instead of his enemy after all he bequeathed his keyblade to Riku explain that one

Lingering Will does recognize that Sora isn't an enemy after the fight though, while Guardian ends up being puppeteered by Ansem SoD against Sora and/or Riku multiple times after they first clashed. So I think the Will has a bit more of an Ego than the Guardian does and only when the Will perishes in his and Terra-Xehanort's rematch is when it properly gives the Terra's heart (in the Guardian) the needed amount of conscious will to successfully rebel against him.

Aqua and Terra personally gave Riku the Keyblade and Sora Ventus' heart on top of Riku and Mickey running into Aqua later on in the Realm of Darkness. Ventus was in a fever dream of his own mind mixed with Sora's entire adventure since his heart was in Sora since Sora was a child, and all the way till Sora woke him in this game. And even if both didn't know him before, between the gummi phones, courtesy of Jiminy, and being back in the fold long enough to get told what's going on, they'd catch wind of the main man himself in the retelling with how significant he was from kh1 onwards.

He's had to deal with that for over ten years, and now he is fucking DONE with it all XD
