"The 405 Bump" At 4:42 you can see the traffic on the 405. When there was moderate traffic doing 65 to 70mph on the 405, at about 400 feet, there was a bump. The traffic would create turbulence while the laminate ocean breeze would flow down the open runways and flow over the traffic turbulent air, "The 405 Bump".

Hi sir, I’m sorry to bother you again but, on approach criteria I was confused on the wording by United in the document you sent me. Is it under 1,000 feet agl no more than -1,200 fpm or no more than +300 or -300 from published fpm and under 500 feet no more than 1,000 unless required for approach and briefed? Thank you very much for your help, Brayden

Great Video! Unfortunatly there's not very much of german 737 stuff. I like the 737 best and I am not the biggest airbus guy, the airbus does all by himself. Nice Channel :) Is it still quite common to have the Honeywell MCP in the US or is it also quite rare like in Europe?

I’m not sure if you can answer but does your company sop allow for the use of a fixed derated takeoff thrust and climb thrust or only assumed temp. Do you go off of the suggested climb derate by the fmc if your airline uses it. Lastly does your airline use a fixed cost index or is it per flight. THANK YOU SO MUCH.
@CockpitScenes3 ай бұрын
Cost Index is per flight, but it is generally the same. We use assumed temperature, but it is nothing I ever calculate. It is downloaded to the FMC per flight and it is calculated using many different parameters. Hope that helps.
