@@matlutkinable 🤣 enhance the 360 camera on a stick, more hands free shots and rostrum camera. At least that is the idea, it’s not a full drone most actions are pre programmed although you can fly it manually. Battery life is limited to 10 minutes and it’s not gps. Fun though.

ive been using a 40m delta loop as an upside down with the 4;15ft off ground for 25 years but my latest one all home built mind you i tuned the twin 240/43 's with an analizer and found that at a full wave for 40 will work on 80m i use efhw for 40-10 @22m of wire will also do 80-10 but u have to tune the balun its not great on 80m ssb but i worked china on both at 10w on ft8 have fun try a mag loop too i built an 160-80m mag loop it works have fum Dylan m0dsy.

@@dbailey3024 I’ve often wondered how well it would do vertically
@dbailey30243 ай бұрын
Ok as upside down triangle fed at the bottom just off gnd it has a 3db gain over a dipole and if u tune the balun with a analizer it will do 75m at about a 45% loss but great on ft8 the wark bands will need an internal atu to bring them inline but I tried a lot of antennas over the years but I allways go back to my delta as it works so well I talked to south caraliner us every day for the month I’ve done nz china ect I use a tuned efhw for portable so u can’t beat a resonant antenna the delta doesn’t need to be perfect triangle so will it work for u? U will have to experiment which is fun ,you won’t know until u try drop me an email and I’ll send you a link for how to make it better than a bought one and lighter /more invisible too

My X6100 connects to wifi fine, but for the life of me I can't get WFview to work properly. Most of the time it just completely fails to connect to the radio and on the rare occasions it does, it's unstable and not usable in any way. The VFO frequency may match or I get a broken snippet of audio playing from the computer, but nothing useful or consistent. FWIW, it behaves the same way via USB/serial port. I know the wifi is connected as I can update the clock via NIST. I can also connect to the radio fine with a terminal, browse the directory structure, etc. Using the latest firmware I'm aware of, App v1.1.7, Base v1.1.6. I rather like the radio, buggy and quirky as it is, but some things just flat out don't work. Glad I bought it cheap! Any suggestions would be appreciated. Tnx es 73.
