I had a similar experience with B of A in CA. In 1995 I tried to deposit a $50k check (one of 5) from my mother's estate. They declined even though I handed the manager a business card from the manager of the trust dept of the large bank who would verify it. . Minutes later Ii closed my account and opened an acct at a local credit union where I still bank 30 years later. And over the years I have deposited literally millions from house flipping ventures.
