I'd add in some Colorado too, we've got the Rockies to ski or skidoo in. Southeastern Alberta is like west Texas though, flat and dry with oil getting pumped

I love this video, as someone who worked in Alberta for 4 years. I hope you guys are doing okay over there during this tough time. I had a great experience dealing with Albertans even the ones in the oil patch. There is a bit of a bad stigma of working over there but the worst apples were people from out of province not counting newfies who I had a great experience with as well. Good luck man, thanks for the nostalgia

This is perfect for those times where it is around 40f out when it's not quite cold enough to plug in the truck instead giving her a little more time with the grid heaters. Thank you for good info in this video!
@LightWaIker5 жыл бұрын
To bypass the grid heater(s), instead of a switch to couldn't you just start the truck right away instead of waiting for the grid heater(s) to cycle?
@littlewillymac17705 жыл бұрын
You can if you want the fire department to show up cause they will think it's a 5 alarm fire. But it's just a cold cummins...
@xhongxina2863 жыл бұрын
@@littlewillymac1770 but you can cycle it twice then turn it off and on the third time and just start it before it goes off
@littlewillymac17703 жыл бұрын
You can start it anytime with grid heaters on or off the heaters are in the intake not like glow plugs that are in the cylinders which can hurt if you start it with them on but grid heaters u can start with them on or off cycled 5 times or once the only factor is your battery power
