I am a dual professional as a librarian and cybersecurity consultant. I learn best by teaching, and this is where I will share learning resources I create.

As "The Cybersecurity Librarian" I combine two worlds to create cybersecurity courses, workshops, and coaching. I have developed and delivered dozens of unique courses on incident response, threat hunting, security operations, managing cybersecurity programs, vulnerability, assessment, and more.

As a librarian I am trained to classify and organization information, to help others build technical literacy skills, and be an expert at "deep" searching in mountains of data. As a cybersecurity pro, I am trained to analyze risk, mine mountains of logfiles, hunt threats, and create defensible architectures.

The intro sequence there takes me back a bit. At the start of my career I was using WYSE terminals to dial into systems that would give me a telnet interface to deal with them. Very nostalgic!

After so many times that I have been scammed online I didn’t believe anymore there are some real hacker ,until a friend introduced me to hackerjoe222 on telegram app , the hacker actually got me 4btc in my wallet with few steps that I take 😘

Really enjoyed watching this video. Well explained. Looking forward for your future content. Btw, noticed some ELK docker images. Any chance you would make videos on ELK topics?

Thanks! Yes, I will be making some ELK videos this summer. Those will involve ingest of Zeek data sources, enrichment of the data (maybe using logstash maybe not), and then visualization in Kibana, but also exploration in Jupyter notebooks. As my project progresses, I plan to share little bits of what I learn as I go.
