Пескоструй? Не, не слышали. Реставрация свечи особо улыбнула. И почему я раньше так не делал, а покупал новые?

I can´t take off the manifold to replace it. That nut at the bottom of the manifold is a reverse thread for what I can see. It doesn´t seem to come off, but I can´t turn the manifold. Any tips? The alternative is to plug somehow the right air outlet which I cracked when replacing the fitting. I saw a video where some dude cancelled and plugged it, but he doesn´t show what to use, it looks like some kind of metal epoxi.

I always love to watch restoration videos. It's such an art to bring back to life the machines and tools that our countries were built with. Regrettably, the background noises in this one were too distracting for me. Had to play it on mute.

@RestorationVS LOL! Of course, I forgive you that! If I have difficulty with the background noise in future videos, I will put on mute again. But I will still watch them! 😉
Very nice work but very dangerous to leave it without blade protection..

I don't understand why you didn't brush off the dirt before disassembly. Then the application of penetrating oil wouldn't turn dirt into mud, which makes the job more difficult, and something you have to deal with later.

ne important step needs to be taken. Adjusting the Squareness of your 0,90 and 45 degree cuts. The 90 degree cut can be adjusted by using a square on a 2x4 cut on the saw and then adjusted by loosening the bolts holding on the backstop. These often go out of square when the saw is thrown into the back of a pickup, or something heavy lands on it in your truck. 100% square cuts are necessary for a good carpenter.

I would have at least pressure washed it before working on it. Keeps the work area a bit cleaner.
