Haneda airport is closer to Shinjuku. It was around 30 minutes from the airport to our hotel.:)

Hi! I have loved watching your vlogs these past few days, especially considering you traveled with your little girl. I would love to hear more about your experience with this. My partner and I have a 4 month old daughter, and we are dreaming/planning of traveling to Japan when she is about 2 years old, but the whole thing I think seems very daunting. We will be traveling from Norway so the travel is long, and of course there is so much to see and do, and I also know little about older children and how we will have to plan for that. I was wondering if maybe you have some few good tips or if maybe you have shared some of that aspect of traveling somewhere before? ☺

It's not that hard as you think. Japan is very baby-friendly. There are a lot of baby rooms/toilets where you can change nappies, lots of kids activites. We did Puroland and USJ. I think the only downside with having a toddler with you is that you won't be able to eat at very small restaurants like Ichiran and such but it's not a deal breaker. You can always go back when she's bigger!😃 Also, bring a foldable stroller with you! In areas where it's packed, especially in metros during rush hours, you can fold your stroller and just carry your toddler.

With the crane games, the claws get stronger the longer you play. After you have spent a certain amount of money, it will hold on to the doll all the way to the drop box. It's rigged but it's fun. Here's a tip: look for a game somone has been working on for awhile then given up on... swoop in & you'll get it within a couple tries. 😉
