You need to play it (it's in the free rotation until September 29th) and get gold stars on any instrument. Unfortunately there's a bug that's preventing some people from getting them. Epic has already acknowledged this.

Play with whatever you have, as long as you're able to hit stable 60fps, you should be fine.

@@weirdfishes364 yes, and if it wasn't, it's just a matter of basic respect with the artist(s), you know? my guess is that they label the free tracks as Epic Games to make them feel "less special" compared to the paid tracks (with "actual" artists), making people more inclined to buy those ones instead of appreciating the free ones. though obviously it's just a guess, maybe the difference is just something like "songs Epic has the full rights for" vs. "songs licensed from the artist"

It's a bummer really, same with the Harmonix tracks, lots of cool things you can find under that name, but people that don't know better will call them Epic originals, disregarding all of that legacy. I've added proper credits in the description now that we know who made this song, trying to do my part.
