I’m wearing my Hold Fast pendant on the 22” sterling silver chain and the meaning behind this is truly empowering. It’s beautiful, strong, encouraging and a perfect fit. I have been wearing a 24” stainless chain with a stainless dog tag with my father’s fingerprint and date of birth/death 1943-2022. On the back an inscription said “We ride today so that we can ride again tomorrow” The meaning behind this was a motocross inspired statement that anyone can get all over the throttle but those who stay in control , live to ride the next day and aren’t injured because of being careless…I think he had me in mind when he coined that phrase as he used to race professionally and I was a bit of a hot head wanting to ride beyond my level of expertise and he didn’t want to be responsible for my demise LOL. His battle with melanoma is what took him from us; I learned everything about being a good man from him. I have had my struggles along my journey and decided, through much spiritual help to change my life when my daughter was born almost 14 years ago. Today I am a responsible dad, business owner, happy husband and practice mindfulness daily. My dad was proud of the man I had become, a family man with a loving wife and well adjusted straight A students for children, one is 13, the other 17. Living in the moment has been difficult for me as the regrets of the past weighed heavily and the fear of the future has all but crippled me mentally. Today much has changed because of the support of others and I take that philosophy into my service based business, with much success. Bills are still there, illnesses still pop up, stressed out folks still try to vent but now I am able to breathe and be emphatic, kind and solution based. I’m 53 and still surf, snowboard, skate, scuba dive, play golf three times a week, take my kids to Disney at least 2x a month for the past 12 years. I just lost my dog of 15 years and she was so loved by our whole neighborhood and also the school mascot at our kids preschool and VPK. 15 years of staying at pet friendly hotels because every vacation she was with us….our kids always had her in the house, my step daughter was so close to her as I introduced them when she was just two. I have had to overcome addiction, death of a longtime girlfriend to a plane crash, living with one of the wealthiest families in America to sleeping on the streets. Building myself back and losing the rock of our family to now being the only male left in our family; I told my father before he passed that no matter what I would make sure mom would be cared for. This necklace reminds me that I can do hard things, keep my focus on helping others, watch for selfishness and practice a life of kindness, rippling something worth rippling into the world. Thank you for the daily reminder! I love everything about your company and have written my manifesto and in addition shared so many of the brilliant philosophies passed down from Frankel to Nietzsche. All of our fingerprints are different and to live up to my father’s success is not the mountain that I am climbing today, I am grateful for him and knowledge passed down, I realize I am my own man and have a supportive and loving family who I completely care for and love dearly. Because of the support and kindness shared by complete strangers I have grown spiritually, mentally and physically. I have almost 15 years of sobriety and life is beyond my wildest dreams. This necklace reminds me to never give up, no matter the financial struggles or burdens of fear, anxiety, stress or past mistakes but to push forward with a smile and know that I’ve got this and I am not alone as long as my goal is to be of service to others both in business and in daily life. This piece will be passed to my daughter when I am gone. Hopefully it doesn’t break off while we are parasailing or jumping off bridges as we just got back from Key West and did just those things and more… it was awesome watching my girls launch 30’ off the top of this jumping bridge into Caribbean blue water, they had never done anything that exciting. I had never been more in the moment than when they were singing every pop song in the back of the car along with my wife, close to midnight on our ride back home, I was silent, laughing occasionally with a huge smile thinking 💭 God if it doesn’t get any better than this I am completely okay with that 😊 Thank you and I will be purchasing more luxury jewelry from you all because I believe in clean water for all and the quality and message is 100% on point!
