Collecting is fun but I was addicted to buying everything, , funko pops , plush toys, figures everything. I feel so good now I’ve basically stopped collecting after 20 years , I mean I will buy a rare impulse buy but it try not to. I gave nearly my whole collection to charity so it’s doing good for people. Totally appreciate how you tell yourself don’t need it , don’t love it and walk away, that’s not easy to do especially until you realise you don’t really want it, it’s just the dopamine hit we’re addicted to

Two things I believe my friend has the complete Dukes of Hazzard box set signed by John Schneider. He went to signing with John Schneider years ago second off Disney cruises are fantastic we went on our honeymoon. It was fantastic bit short but fantastic with Disney dream the buffet is out of sight. Max and Sean would love the cruise.

My wife got me the complete DVD boxset of Dukes of Hazard years ago. I enjoy it from time to time, but haven't rewatched the seasons when the other Duke cousins take over.

This is the Goodwill you told me to go to about two weeks ago. The movie section didn't have that much good stuff when I was there. That is so crazy they have so much good stuff.

Watch out on those "As Time Goes By" sets as they are probably fake. I have two of them myself and you can tell by the thinner box art quality and fuzzy print. A few of the other British series you'll find will be fake like that too. Red Dwarf comes to mind as it's way cheaper than the real set. I'm seeing more and more of the fakes at stores as people buy them on Amazon and eBay and don't know how to spot a fake boxset.

25:50 Dave, you have such a good point about not purely upgrading to 4K-only discs or movies because it makes more sense to always have a Blu-ray option instead (or a Blu-ray included with a 4K release). Frankly, I don't know for how much longer 4K will survive in the future and even if it does, 4K players are not as cheap as Blu-ray players and one can find used Blu-ray players at thrift stores for $5 to $15 dollars, so if one's Blu-ray player ever broke down, that would be an easy replacement (I have several used Blu-ray players as backups or for redundancy) while one isn't likely to find many 4K players in the wild at thrift stores in the future. 4K players may even disappear altogether with the rising dominance of streaming services for most consumers out there.

I just picked up that Marx Bro. Set at the Winter Garden Goodwill for $9.99 and when I got home and unwrapped it there was a disc missing 😢

I screamed when I saw that rainbow brite!. they were once sold on hallmark's website a few years ago but I didn't get one for my collection. their on eBay being sold for 100 bucks because they are rare. I can't believe you found that at goodwill. I wish the goodwills in my area were that good but a lot of the movies and kid books they put on the shop goodwill website.
