The best road! We rode from Zurich to Barcelona last year and this road was on our “to do” list. We were AMAZED!

Thanks for watching mate. Yeah the first race was strange as you have now idea if you'll be good, bad or indifferent. I was always towards the sharper end of trackdays but this is a whole different ball game. It's true what they say though, that first year of racing is magical and you make some great friends. Are you thinking about it?

Brands is lovely in the sun isn't it. It's a shame if they have banned cameras but luckily they are so small these days that you can hide them in lots of places. Glad you like the videos. The 4th race from Snetterton is a good one, I crash on the last turn but the camera stops just before I make a lunge for 3rd - so close! Enjoy it fellas

prob is mate is most clubs have banned the use of camera's which is crap as it prevents us racers and fans enjoying the vids, plus for me a great way of earning about gears for what bends....

Yes I could. It turned out that a tiny piece of the valve guide had splintered off and the shard was inside one of the cylinders. We had Tue head off and removed the piece (which with hindsight would probably have dropped out of the exhaust at some point). Anyway, yes there were lots of tiny put marks in the cylinder head, nothing to worry about though, just lots of tiny dots.

Once the head was removed, you could clearly see the damage?

Funnily enough, I know her well as she is my mates fiancée, her name is Donna and she hit her head pretty hard approaching the left after Gerard's? She's ok but hasn't ridden since and has now stopped to have a baby. Small world eh?!

I have the same bike and same exhaust. Where did you get the carbon end section from?

The cause was a very small piece of metal the sheared off from the valve guides. The tiny fragment of metal was loose inside the cylinder head, it would probably have blown out or smashed to pieces and disappeared. Cost me a fortune to have the engine removed and head off which was a shame.

I did sort this actually.

I was just about to buy one but I can't see where I am meant to mount the tail tidy too? I know it has 2 plates sticking out that looks to go under the plastics but theres no where to join it too? Can you shed some light on it please lol

Hi jimjim, glad you got the exhaust mate and I hope you are managing to fit it ok. I ended up using an R&G tail tidy which come with a rear brake light. It's a very fit but it does go And looks particularly good when on.

Mate I need your help. I have the same bike as said before. I am fitting a scorpion exhaust today and noticed my tail tidy I got is for the standard exhaust. Can you tell me where you got yours from? Thanks

Was a great race, gutted a ran off the track early on though.... Unfortunately I had a massive high side just after the video cut whilst going round coram, last lap, last corner :( so gutted as could have been my only podium :( but that's racing!

Haha you're right, was a great race, 40th to 17th I think but that grassy excursion scared me a touch!

That was some god racing dude. On the back section on the grass.....HARDCORE !!!!

Hehe I had such fun in this race, such a good dual with Greg on the red/white/blue cbr and coley on the red r6... Amazing how much the riding improved during the season from this video!

I have the exact same bike and colour and just won the same exhaust on eBay for £100 :) can't wait now after hearing this as the standard one is boring me now lol
