Lembro tão bem Ainda, na época eu estava no colegial do Arqui e uma galera distribuíu Flyers desse filme na saída dizendo que ia passar e passou no auditório da faculdade GV.. mudou a minha vida para sempre!Músicas como essa de abertura do pink floyd e varias do talking heads que tatuaram a minha mente e imagens que mostraram o que eu queria fazer pelo resto da minha vida.. I was there! the first major world surfing competition in PR, saw some great surfing; Wayne Lynch, Reno Abellira were youngsters but were way ahead of their time in their approach to the wave, Nat Young probably the best, but lost his board in the finals (no leashes then!) and took a while to get out in big Maria surf.

I love this video along with Long Island that I believe was in the same video.Brings back so many memories of being a teenager and my love of the ocean.All the music and footage etc is great on this vid.perfection.i think I wore my tape out.thanks so much for uploading this 👍

WOW....this brings back so many memories growing up as a young grom...going to high school...using any excuse to go for waves....I had the Performers and Kong's Island on the one video, it was a promotional video for Quicksilver. Great surfing and really good 80's classic tunes.....so its great to see this here after many years of not knowing where my copy went and i never thought i could watch this again. Thanks for uploading. Who else remembers when Tracks was a newspaper and all black and white....not filled with ads. Those were the days !!!!!!!

Such an Epic film! I wish Quicksilver would issue it again, I contacted them but nogo. It set the standards for surf films moving on. I'd pay good money for a remastered version of this. I must've watched it thousands of times in my youth. Great music, great surfing!!! Thank you!
