I LOVE my 556k. I would never buy a non flow suppressor again. I own a nomad 30 primarily for my 300blk which does great on that gun. It was a little gassy on my 556 though. My brother owns a rc2 on his mk18. My god is that can gassy. When I got my hux, I was blown away. I feel like it sounds similar to the nomad or rc2 but with zero gas which is what I wanted. I want the 762ti for my scar now. My nomad does okay on it but scars really need a flow thru can…

I’m torn between this suppresser and a KAC 556 QDC/CRS-PRT for my incoming SR15 CQB MOD2 11.5. The KAC does not have adjustable gas and I’m worried other suppressors may not run as smoothly. But, the KAC suppressor is more expensive and quite a bit heavier. Weight does matter.. I know I’m not going to war with it, but I do want something that’s as close to “get it and forget it” type. If I ever take a class with it, I don’t want to be finicking with it. I don’t want to be like the guy with the super expensive 1911 not keeping up with the Glocks in the class.. What would you do?

With a non adjustable gas block the HuxWrx suppressors really shine. For a “CQB build” we go lighter and shorter.

Sooooo basically, an overpriced, badass muzzle break. Why not just run a flash hider for 10x less the cost because this supressor really does nothing. You keep mentioning no gas back to the face. I can get no gas back to the face without a supressor. So what's the point? It doesn't suoress sound. And it's actually terrible at Flash Signature. What's the point.
@VerrettsTacticalАй бұрын
Are you just mad because you can’t afford a suppressor. So if you don’t have one…what are you basing these factually incorrect statements on? It definitely suppresses very well , it reduces the flash well. It’s okay that you are wrong. This is subjective depending on what platform, barrel length, ammunition, ect. “Out of all the submissions that participated in the rigorous FBI Ballistic Research Facility testing, the FLOW 556k finished first in weight, unsuppressed and suppressed flash/spark, sound suppression, gas blowback, and user assessment testing.”

The CAT WB is the best 5.56 can on the market. It has extremely low back pressure but doesn't give up sound suppression. The Hux is great since it's the lowest backpressure on the market but sounds like a quieter unsuppressed shot. The WB has SLIGHTLY more backpressure but gains considerably more sound suppression (pew science numbers) and flash mitigation while being slightly shorter. The tone on it it's insane and different from any other 5.56 can I've heard while having near no gas

There’s nothing wrong with liking another suppressor more. But it’s a serious problem when people want to make definitive statements. Some studies show that the 556k outperforms other suppressors by far. At the end of the day if everybody’s running different firearms with different barrel lengths and different ammo in different climate conditions… and then make a statement that one component is better… There’s no baseline for a comparison. Who knows, with your specific conditions and set up maybe it is better for you.
@nunyabiznus54282 ай бұрын
To me the purpose of a suppressor is to make the report quiet. Hux are NOT quiet. They do reduce gas in your face. For me, I’ll go for quiet
@VerrettsTactical2 ай бұрын
And that is totally cool, if thats what you want. However, they do significantly more than just reduce sound. The 556k is on par with other short configuration suppressors but gives a lot more benefits than the others.
@dans18912 ай бұрын
Agreed, by the numbers, not the upmost quietest can out there (if that is all you require). The reduction in back pressure and gas-face are other pros to look at. Military Arms Channel and OSS/HuxWrx put out two videos where decible testing was done at shooters ear and downrange. The difference downrange between silencers was negligible.

Just picked up their Flow 7.62 TI. Ran it on my 11.5 Geissele upper. No gas in the face, ejects 3 oclock, actually dampened recoil impulse. Happy with my first can. The TI does spark, also brand new. And I did notice how much faster rail heats up, even with flow through.
@trunkmonkey562 ай бұрын
I also just shot my new flow 7.62 TI on a 16", and man I'm sold on flow through for supersonic ammo now. I have lots of standard baffle designs, and on supersonic the flow sounds just as good without any of the back pressure. Non flow through is still fantastic on subsonics though
@ChadCooper032 ай бұрын
@@trunkmonkey56 That’s awesome! Yea I don’t shoot anything that takes subs yet. I put 60 rounds through to test at indoor range, never gases out once. Brand new can sparks. Hux says it should decline at bit as can gets seasoned. Will likely always have a little bit. But for the light weight, no back pressure, I’m fine with it.

@@ChadCooper03i put 300 rounds through mine in one trip, and got it really hot. Sparking got a little bit better but definitely not gone. I would push people to a different material if sparking is a big concern. I do have a titanium SilencerCo Scythe and it doesn't spark with super 300blk. But oh boy is this 7.62 flow light weight for how durable it is. Mine will probably live on 556, 5.45, and 7.62x39 guns. I highly recommend you try a 300blk suppressed.
