I started PRT training in May 2024. I had stayed out of the gym for 4 years during Covid, but had to keep paying my monthly membership freeze fee of $11 plus $44 monthly personal training fee (I cut personal training to 1 time a month just as the pandemic was starting so I wouldn’t lose all the sessions I had accumulated if I were to quit LA fitness). When I returned in May 2024 to Mill Creek LA Fitness I was only allowed to use my personal training session for the PRT (small group training classes). I actually am enjoying the small group format as it’s more fun and motivational to work out with others. The exercises are predetermined and they don’t very much from session to session. Some are not good for my toe joint problem, so I need to be assertive and ask the trainer for a modification. Also you need to determine and track the weight you are lifting in each exercise and time your own hold time in a plank. I enjoy PRT but would appreciate more variety to the exercises and alternatives to pick from.

Depends... are you Mailing it in for your workout, do you even have time to talk to crush / check phone? Usually when I workout if I'm really going hard, all my brain can proccess in between sets is stairing into space, skip button on pandora, or glance at countdown timer on phone on the floor.
