Hmm not too efficient but it is effective. I am pretty sure you could have gotten more boards per cut if done in the correct order. That said its a decent sawmill and I wouldn't mine building me one like that someday which I will never do because I am lazy.

Yes it will. however, the measurements change based on how thick you want the top and bottom measurements of your siding. best is to experiment a little.

@dpsrmag, it was a bad log, but it was the process more then the finished product. the next day we did some spruce logs that came out beautifully that will be posted soon.

I have a D&L 1020 , it’s nice to see new and updated material. Fantastic mill except for the Subaru motor.

Thanks Jeff. Its been slow, but we are working on getting updated material out. Also, we have updated the mills. The motor options now include Kohler or Vanguard. Great to hear from you. Thanks for your support!

it is a 180 degree by doing a double cut. by cutting the right side or the left side.

Can you post a video on how to read the dimension gauge to cut dimensional lumber. Also how to adjust the head so that double cuts match up. Since your "marketing department" hasnt come out with any instructions in 10 years it would be helpful for people with new mills. Hey when do you expect those assembly instructions to be produced?
