The Aveda Color Renewal Color & Shine Treatment is not actually hair dye! It is a colour and shine treatment masque. It will boosts shine and refreshes your salon colour in 2-5 minutes. It might not be the strongest solution for stubborn reds. If that red is peeking through your brown, this masque might not be the best fit. For a more targeted approach, consider visiting your salon! Hi there! I would recommend taking the product back to the Salon. If it is suppose to have a protective seal underneath the lid, they will be able to swap the product for you! So sorry for any inconveniences.
