Well, uranium glass. Vaseline glass is more of a term for uranium glass produced prior to the 1930’s, which has a more yellowish colour

Beautiful job, mate. This was also a revelation product-wise. We have The Pink Stuff this side of The Pond, too. I (accidentally) took the old varnish off, and bleach, our kitchen beading with it, which was a good thing, as it needed an overhaul or replacement! I honestly thought the abrasive cream would just dull the Formica, but it came up gleaming. You're right about modern-day furniture. Our generation, and the next few have to renovate, restore and cherish the pieces out forebears made, as their knowledge has or will die with them, alas. I'm currently shopping for a table like this, and now I feel better equipped to potentially restore something that's perhaps not in the best condition. Thanks.😘

@@daddykitch Red! Or blue. I actually don't mind if the price is right. You don't see many on UK Ebay with the aluminum finish, just wooden bases. I do like the metal framed ones, too - more durable and look smart They fetch about £100 here, often more. As with yours, they nice ones are fairly thin on the ground.

My Daughters Friend gave me a table, green like this with design on top. Mine is a little smaller . There weren't any chairs, but I have Coca-Cola chairs at mine. We use it in our small extra 50's dining room, when we have family dinners for extra seating. That room stays decorated for Christmas all year. I love it! It's my happy place in my home. Love your table.

I just bought this same exact table! 😍 my seats are trash! What recovering kit did you use? I used aluminum foil for my chrome which worked good, but my hands are still stained from the crud! 🤦♀️ beautiful table! Also, is there a place to store the leaf under the table? I don’t use mine.

The one my parents owned was yellow. In the 70s it was replaced with a wooden table. It went down to the basement apartment. Have no idea what happened to it.
