I was searching KZbin to find instructional videos on how best to use the advanced features in MS Word. What I found with Versatile Solutions is a series of videos which are actually adverts and not instructional videos. Very disappointing…personally I think it should be made clear from the outset that these videos are advertisements for what I assume is an American based company. These are not instructional videos on how to use the advanced features of MS Word.

How do you add the "My document toolbar" to your toolbar in Office 365? I've looked through the customizations and I can't find it.

Brianne: Thanks for watching my videos. This toolbar is not available in Office 365. I created it to demonstrate some of the features and techniques I use when developing custom document automation solutions for customers. This is serious customization via macros which you dont explain. And an explanation as to how you build these macros is really the most important part of all. You are basically showing a user how to use the macro's you created. The problem is, I am here to understand how you built those macros to make those buttons.

Thanks for your comments. What I'm demonstrating in these videos is what can be accomplished using VBA macros, Like you, I often look for sites and posts that explain how to create certain types of macros, or how to accomplish something using VBA, then I incorporate those ideas into my macros. I readily admit that my purpose here is to show some of the methods I use to develop custom solutions for paying clients. Sorry, but I can't give away all my ideas for free.

Hi, I tried doing it and got most of it but I am not able to find “content demo” tab and “boilerplate selector” how it find that? I have made the templates via quick part and auto text but unable to select multiple template in one go..how to do that?

RA: The content demo tab and boilerplate selector macro button are ones I developed for the video so I could demo some techniques. You won't find those anywhere else.

Roxana - that "Content Demo" tab you keep seeing in my videos is a custom tab I created for the purpose of these demonstration videos. You won't find it in the regular Word program. If you are interested in the possibility of having me develop a tool for you, let me know.

Ron: You're right that Excel makes it pretty easy to create a chart and embed it into a slide with a link to the original Workbook. But ChartQuick was designed intentionally to create the chart using its own standalone data sheet within PowerPoint, NOT linked to Excel. That way the deck is totally portable and does not rely on having the Excel workbook if you or another person you send it to needs to modify or update the chart. Saves a lot of hassle and keeps the deck from getting too big.

Why not simply use Excel to make the chart and link it to a Powerpoint slide? This product looks like an overlay to native Excel features. Its easy to do in Excel so I don't understand the value of this product.

this way a great tutorial! Thank you. I am trying to figure out how to create a template or theme (i dont know what it is called). Im trying to make it to where the title slide is different than the next slides. Is there a tutorial for that? Can you help me? Thank you!

I wish it was that easy for me. I am sure it would be challenging for someone talented at this to design something for someone who is an idiot at this type of thing.
