Oboes could be better in tune with each other in unison passages. Otherwise, fabulous!

So very Schubertian! No wonder Schubert idolized Beethoven. Two giants. Wondering gif they ever met.

It's remarkable how fresh and modern Chopin's Waltz in A-flat Major, Op. 69, No. 1 still sounds today, even though it was composed a remarkable 189 years ago. The elegance and sophistication of the melody transcend time, making it a timeless masterpiece. ✨🎶🎹

I know I heard this beautiful melody in a movie when I was a kid, it must have been around the mid-90s. I think there was only a short excerpt in the film, but it stuck with me. Does anyone have an idea? 🎶

Perfect balance between the three, great playing, a piece that is rarely performed, lol, of course , in a piano trio the cello is usually covered, the viola , being on the left in this piece, comes out clearly facing out, I wish somehow in a string quartet the viola could face out because it’s sound is usually covered.

I remember the first time I ever heard the end of this piece: Richard Dreyfus, in the role of piano contestant Paul Dietrich, played it in the movie The Competition.

The violin tone in the third movement is absolutely incredible-the delicacy, simplicity, and even the slight roughness/hoarseness in the lower registers is breathtaking.

Where can we find the score for that amazing Trio section that you've put into the Scherzo? I can't find it in any of the editions I've searched and would love to play it with my friends in our trio. Thanks if you can help.
