All these years later, I still feel joy and sorrow together every time I watch one of her performances. So sad that such a shining light of energy and talent could not experience enough of that light she brought to others.

It’s been over 10 years & I still think of this video every single time I hear this song. I watched this multiple times daily while this was going on. Since Tokitae’s death, I have thought a lot about orcas. While these ones were in trouble for a short time, I’m so glad they ultimately were able to swim free again. I wish she had gotten that opportunity. Just wanted to come back to remember this pod.
