Did there not used to be an advertisement where the jingle went look for the D C Cook sign I remember some lyrics before and after the Look for the D C Cook sign of course I may have remembered wrong it's been YEARS since I heard the jingle please write words of lyrics here in comments I have hearing issues anyway so I would love full words to the jingle I remember

I was 14 at the time and lived in Hertfordshire. I remember my mums radio alarm clock going off at 6:30am to get me up for my paper round. It was Radio 1 and a different DJ because the usual one couldn't make it in due to the storm. That was the first I knew about it. Then I went outside to do the paper round. It was pretty wild, a few trees down and I remember someones gate getting blown off. Went home and saw the carnage on breakfast tv.

Thanks 4 posting this great little cartoon what I last saw on channel 4 ,when channel 4 was truly an alternative & interesting channel but now sadly sold out 2 cooking property & pointless reality tv rubbish & now is basically unwatchable like most of the channels on terrestrial tv,there is a cartoon what I recorded but lost i can't remember what it was called, it was about a person jumping around u didn't c the person u just saw what the person saw ,this person kept jumping until they jumped in 2 a nuclear holocaust , if u could find that cartoon that would be brilliant, thanks

My parents and i lived in a prefab at the time of this.We didn't sleep as we were scared the roof of our home was going to get blown off,luckily it didn't. The guttering was blown out and my dad had to get a workman out to come and fix it.I was terrified and will never forget that night.I live in East Yorkshire.
