The man was legendary. It always kills me when people cant pronounce his name, especially if they are siting there with a CS-80.

Your recreation of the Wizard ad is the best moment on your channel since the brief accordion segment of your video on keytars.

I would understand if you said No, but I have been searching forever for that Cars sound on "Just What I Needed". You found a way to make that demo at the beginning of your video sound so awesome! I own the soft-synth version of the miniKorg 700S but have not found a single factory patch that achieves that sound. Would you be able to send me your settings? Pretty please?

33:15 so nicely demo of The Cat! This channel is fantastic and I very like to watch all of these crazy vintage old synth especially from '70 and '80 years. That was time then music companies makes a lot of legends diamonds. And now, we can see some of this crazy stuff. Thanks.

I would say that this is the way not to do it. You want a support on each end and one in the middle and that's it. You do not want any knocks to the box to transfer to the unit. Putting something to fill the box instead of air is a bad idea. Also place something under the keys to stop them moving in transit. That stops any bad knocks breaking the keys and potentially damaging the contact board.

This is still terrible advice - bubble wrap alone will not protect the keyboard from damage.

I'm going to tell you a story: back in 1982 I bought a Godwin 749 string synth off a mate. In 1989 it was stolen from another mate's flat while on loan to him. As things progress I lost touch with the first mate. Thirty years later another mate, who now runs a reissue label, asked me to remaster unreleased demo material from the guy I bought the Godwin off, and put us back in touch. And I bought another Godwin off him . . . Had it refurbished (there were a couple of issues as it hadn't been used in a while). Now it works perfectly; and I love it.

I wonder what happened to Dave. That came out of left field I was shocked when it happened. Everyone's so tight lipped these days about these things. I was really looking forward to more stuff from Dave. He was on a roll when he died and he kind of single-handedly ushered in the analogue revival era.

I got me an RS09, it' my chorus pedal as ther'es an input for it, the organ is pretty nice aswell : vox territory. my go to tube preamp is a 60's BRENNEL tape machine ( a hundred pounds ten years ago) so why wouldnt my chorus pedal be a keyboard? ha ! being a designer/builder myself, i have to say i love watching this show..

Hello Daniel!! So happy to see this. Thank you for my foot into the Sonic Foundry!door so many years ago. You made sure Mike Scheibinger heard my loops? You were on the Vegas team, and then you ended up in Vegas!?! 😂 I don’t know the timeline. But, Cheers to you! You made my life a better place without ever knowing 🎉 Happy New Year Love to see the success of your passion, and randomly, the story connected. My bandmate(and fellow instrument hoarder) from when I was seventeen sent me this video link without knowing the story.

Fascinating video, man! I have a YC-45D and not sure if the ribbon works as I can't get much volume out of it. I'm hoping that one day you make a video on how to disconnect the Expression Pedal [cable] from the organ. Thanks so much for this!

you don't need to add black pixels to make a video wider aspect ratio. Just upload at a different resolution - makes the experience best for all end devices.

Michael Jackson playing any instrument is like Madonna programming a synthesizer. It just never happened. They are the brand, and they are told what to sing, and how to sing it.
