Nicely said Hmmm... I wonder tho... You said "Death is one battle we all eventually lose"... Shedding off the tent to move into the mansion, does not sound like a losing battle, but a winning graduation day! Blessings.

Good point! Perhaps the wording could have been a little better (though I did allude to obtaining eternal life in the resurrection). Maybe just clarifying it as "physical" death is one battle we all eventually lose would have been better. One thing I've learned...60 seconds sure passes quickly when making these recordings! 😂 Thanks for your comment! -Chad

@@bremencofc Aloha Chad- Your wording was great! I knew exactly what you meant clearly. I'm just your Class Clown chiming in! Physical death or the idea of that "phase" of our now eternal lives in Christ, is certainly spooky sounding unless we are lucky to die in our sleep in our old age be raptured! Somewhere in between that and maybe saying "OH MY LORD" as you are held under at Pipeline for the last time, is going to be a moment when we say, "OH LORD!" and shedding this body will be LIBERATING! Blessings to you.

Wanted to share this sermon with an unbeliever, but multiple skips in the video confuse the message at its most germane points. I follow Bro. Owens' videos. He is knowledgeable in preaching, teaching and declaring the whole counsel of God.

Not all what is in the New Testament is the word of God. There is CONSENSUS among biblical scholars (i here refer to academics, not priests) that the bible has been corrupted. Just google for "bible forgery", you will get 1.9+ million results and you will find books over books documenting the corruption historically and biblically. However, this does not mean that it is corrupt in its entirety. It contains a substantial amount of truth, together with some forgery. How to know what is true from what is false? The Quran is the last, final and unedited word of God to all mankind. Therefore, God promises in the Quran, “We have, without doubt, sent down the Message; and We will assuredly guard it (from corruption)” (15:9). The Quran is preserved in its originality not only in scriptures, but through memorization. The process of memorization began during Prophet Muhammad’s life until today (just google for the world’s most memorized book). Millions of Muslims all over the word memorize the whole book by heart. In his book, An Introduction to Hadith, John Burton explains “Oral transmission through the generations aids preservation by diminishing reliance solely on written records. Manuscripts which are not protected through memorization can be altered, edited or lost overtime. However, a book that is committed to memory by millions of people across the world over centuries cannot be changed due to the amount of people who know it word-for-word.” The Quran confirms the original Bible given to Jesus. Quran 2:136 states: “Say, “We believe in Allah and what has been revealed to us; and what was revealed to Abraham, Ishmael, Isaac, Jacob, and his descendants; and what was given to Moses, Jesus, and other prophets from their Lord. We make no distinction between any of them. And to Him we submit”. The Quran states that a book has been given to Jesus, referred to in the Quran as Injeel. Quran Chapter 5:44: “Indeed, We sent down the Torah, containing guidance and light, by which the prophets, who submitted themselves to Allah, made judgments for Jews. So too did the rabbis and scholars judge according to Allah’s Book, with which they were entrusted and of which they were made keepers. So do not fear the people, but fear Me! Nor trade my revelations for a fleeting gain. And those who do not judge by what Allah has sent down are ˹truly˺ the disbelievers. 5:45 And We ordained for them therein a life for a life, an eye for an eye, a nose for a nose, an ear for an ear, a tooth for a tooth, and for wounds is fair retribution. But whoever gives [up his right as] charity, it is an expiation for him. And whoever does not judge by what Allah has sent down - then it is those who are the unjust. 5:46 And in their footsteps We sent Jesus, son of Mary, confirming what preceded him of the Torah. And We gave him the Injeel, wherein is guidance and light, and confirming the Torah that preceded it, and a guidance and an admonition to the ones who are God-fearing. 5:47 And let the People of the Injeel judge by what Allah has revealed therein. And whoever does not judge by what Allah has revealed - then it is those who are the defiantly disobedient.” The book given to Jesus might be the one referred to as “The Gospel of the Kingdom” in (Matthew 4: 23): “And Jesus went about all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, and preaching the Gospel of the Kingdom, and healing all manner of sickness and all manner of disease among the people.”. This Gospel does not exist today. The present gospels contain the words of God, the words of Jesus and the words of the writer. That means that they are not fully God’s word. Therefore, the Quran confirms that the Quran is the final and supreme authority over all other scriptures. God says in the verse following the ones I quoted above, Quran 5:48 “And We have revealed to you, [O Muḥammad], the Book [i.e., the Quran] in truth, confirming that which preceded it of the Scripture and as a supreme authority over it. So judge between them by what Allah has revealed and do not follow their inclinations away from what has come to you of the truth. To each of you We prescribed a law and a method. Had Allah willed, He would have made you one nation [united in religion], but [He intended] to test you in what He has given you; so race to [all that is] good. To Allah is your return all together, and He will [then] inform you concerning that over which you used to differ.” More on this in this video by British theologist Paul Williams: "The Gospels, the Injil, and the Qur'an" (in English, but with translation available) kzbin.info/www/bejne/nKGwnHtpppWthJY

The audio is MESSED UP in several places around 30 minutes into the sermon. Please fix it. You have changed the message at this point in several places. Also, you keep changing the volume of the speakers message.
@bremencofc11 ай бұрын
Unfortunately, this video was live-streamed, so there is nothing we can do to fix the parts near the end where the video drops out from time to time. This was likely due to a bandwidth issue, which has since been addressed. As for the audio, I did not notice it (though I only watched from the 30-min. mark to the end) but, again, there is no way to fix this on a live-streamed video. Listening to all of the lesson from the 30-min. mark through the end, though the dropouts are unfortunate (and frustrating), I cannot tell that they alter the overall message being presented in any way; the overall gist of the lesson still comes through. Thanks for the heads-up, and I will also check to see if there may be a backup of the lesson that was saved locally on the live streaming computer. --Chad Dollahite (preacher)

The Church and The Kingdom is not the Same Daniel 7:27) And the Kingdom and dominion, and the greatness of the Kingdom under the whole heaven; shall be given to the people of the saints of the most High whose Kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and all dominions shall serve and Obey him. Matthew 8:11) And I say unto you, That many shall come from the east and west, and shall sit down with Abraham and Isaac and Jacob, in the Kingdom of heaven.( Luke 13:28-29) There shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth, when ye shall see Abraham and Isaac and Jacob, and all the prophets, in the Kingdom of GOD and You Yourselves thrust out.And they shall come from the east and from the west; and from the north, and from the south, and shall sit down in the Kingdom of GOD. You used Ephesians 1:22-23) But you should have Used Ephesians 1:20-21) Which he wrought in Christ, when he raised him from the dead , and set Him at His own right hand in the heavenly places, Far above all principality (Jeremiah 13:18) the king and the queen) and power Luke 20:20 #d that so they might deliver him unto the power and authority of the governor. 1 Peter 3:22 Who is gone into heaven, and is on the right hand of God,; angels and authorities and powers being made subject unto him. The Church of is under Human government authority ,1 Peter 2: 13-19) Submit yourselves to every ordinance of man for the Lord's sake : whether it be to the king, as supreme; Or unto governors as unto them that are sent by him for the punishment of evildoers, and for the praise of them that do well. The Church of Christ is under Human government authority But The Kingdom of GOD ruleth over all.Psalm 103:19) Daniel 4:17,24-25,28-37) Now read Daniel 7:13-14) Psalm 45:6-7) Hebrews 1:8-9) Acts 14:22-23) here they are side by side and they are not called the Same? We enter the KINGDOM twice and baptized into the Body of Christ simultaneously once Acts 2:38) 1Corinthians 12:13 ) 2Peter 1:11 ) proven Matthew 25:34) Speak where the Bible speak and be Silent where the Bible is silent 😢be Blessed,in Love.

The verses presented do not prove that the kingdom and the church are separate entities. The kingdom was spoken of frequently in Old Testament prophecy. The angel Gabriel told Mary her son Jesus would be given “the throne of his father David.” Preparing the way for the Christ, John preached, “Repent ye: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand” (Mt. 3:2). After His baptism and temptation in the wilderness, Jesus began preaching, “Repent: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand” (Mt. 4:17). Jesus also said, “Verily I say unto you, That there be some of them that stand here, which shall not taste of death, till they have seen the kingdom of God come with power” (Mk. 9:1). Either the kingdom came sometime within that generation, or there are some nearly 2000-year-old people still walking the earth. After Acts 2, the kingdom is referenced as a present reality. While it is true that “kingdom” is sometimes used of heaven (as in the verses you mentioned, 2 Pet. 1:11 and Mt. 25:34), this is easily distinguished via context and does not negate the New Testament teaching that the kingdom is Christ’s church. Paul says, writing to Christians, the Father “hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son” (Col. 1:13). If the church is not the kingdom, what could Colossians 1:13 possibly mean? When Jesus said He would build His church (Mt. 16:18), He told Peter He would give him the “keys of the kingdom” (Mt. 16:19). Peter used those keys on the first Day of Pentecost after Jesus’ resurrection, and those saved were “added to the church” (Acts 2:47). That Christians, as members of the kingdom/church, are told to submit to civil authority in no way proves the church is not the kingdom. In fact, God has always been sovereign over all and, even in the Old Testament, His people were often commanded to submit to civil authority (even pagan nations, as in Jer. 38:14-20, where the prophet counsels King Zedekiah and Judah to submit to Nebuchadnezzar and Babylon). The eternal kingdom, prophesied in the Old Testament and predicted by both John and Jesus, is the church of Jesus Christ, established on the first Day of Pentecost after Jesus’ resurrection. Jesus is the head of the church (Eph. 1:22-23), and He sits at the right hand of the Father reigning over it as His kingdom (Acts 2:33), “all angels and authorities and powers being made subject unto him” (1 Pet. 3:22). Reigning over His kingdom/church at the right hand of the Father, Jesus intercedes on behalf of Christians to God (Rom. 8:34; cf. Heb. 7:25). And, at the end of time and the resurrection of the dead, Jesus will deliver that kingdom to God the Father (1 Cor. 15:24-26).

Amen! Religious division is against Christ. John 17:20-23, I Corinthians 1:10-13. We don’t want folks to change denominations. We want them all to leave their denomination, obey the gospel of Christ - Romans 10:16, and be added by Jesus Himself - Acts 2:47, to His one church. Matthew 16:18.
