I never knew that there is a ballet set to Four Last Songs (Richard Strauss). Choreographer? Is it the Schwartzkopf recording that we hear at the end? Guillem is glorious in this. Who are her partners.

Since he embodied the Mad Hatter, Steven McRae has filled his roles with unique personality, individuality, and imagination. The mutual arabesques of Oberon and Titania are superb - the extensions!

If you ask me, I honestly like both Fredric Franklin's Giselle and the Creole Wilis 1984 Performance and Adolphe Adam's Giselle and the Phantom Night Dancers 1841 Performance out of all the Different Versions of the Ballet Story.

@@minissa2009 It's an "educated" guess on my part. The slicked and tied back hair is deceptive. But the quality of movement, seems to tell me it is Muntagirov. (I get so tired of reminding dance KZbinrs to name the dancers in the description: it's so disrespectful not to recognise them by name).

I see no mention that this beautiful principal dancer is the amazing sensation Lorraine Graves. Her long legacy as a pioneer in African-American ballerinas is astounding. She passed away a few days ago, March 21, 2024. May Her Grace Rest In Peace and Beauty. 💓👋🙏🌹🌺
