Nice video, the Brocken Spectre surely is a fascinating optical illusion, but neither your shadow nor infrasound generated by the wind does create footstep sounds that follow behind you. So there must be something else behind many of the accounts of the Big Grey Man.

I've never heard of the old man, but I climbed ben macdui today, and honestly for no reason really I reached the summit and just felt I had to leave quickly. Sunny, fine day but just not a settled vibe.

If there is s strange spirit on top of a mountain or elsewhere, all you need to get rid of it is to become a spirit filled born again Christian, and God will issue you with life changing power, the same power, and authority, that Jesus Christ had over demons, and broken legs etc.

Well I was up on the plateau of Ben Macdui in 1977 on a beautiful sunny day in May after a heavy snowfall. As I arrived at the summit I heard heavy slow footsteps behind me accompanied by heavy laboured breathing. There was no one on the plateau at all until about twenty minutes later two ski moutaineers came out of the Etchacan corrie breathing heavily and walking in the same heavy tread. There is obviously some audio effect created by the corrie which travels over the summit. If it had been misty or night then I might have taken it for something more sinister! The thought of someone firing shots beggars belief. Murder on Macdui!

I’ve been to the summit of Ben Macdui there is something weird about it god knows what but I felt uneasy up on it there were a few other people with me and a couple of guys up there too everyone had an uncomfortable feeling I’ve talked to a few people who’ve been at the summit all the same there’s definitely something off about it. There’s obviously no monster just a strange feeling some places are like that be it wind or the altitude maybe. the top is quite flat and exposed that might be part of it though
