What type of scale system do you have on this unit? Would it work with performance beef system?

I’d like to see this ration looked like 400 pounds hay, 4000 silage, 600 corn, and 100 pounds pellets

why not take the net wrap off before loading the round bale into the mixer.... laziness ??
@ryleykumm77864 жыл бұрын
Corn stalks bales like to explode when you take of the net wrap.

@@ryleykumm7786You cant be serious to think its ok to throw bale with netting into diet feeder, cow stomach trouble and machinery damage are sure to happen, open your bales agaist a wall and load with bucket, works well
@greenthumb68753 жыл бұрын
Lot of Judgement Dennis, I cut mine off, but that’s me... Corn stalks are a bearcat to deal with, to each his own... large squares have their own demons too. I only put up two hundred corn stalk bales and mostly for calf bedding. Don’t want net wrap rapping around bale processor bearings and starting fire. Corn stalk bales are also dirty and hard on balers, rakes but you can put a lot up fast...

@@greenthumb6875 ill stand over that comment and its common sense not to mix netting through a total mixed ration or around machinery parts, who would?

@@denisreidy8106 When a cow is going to be around for only 18 to 24 months due to being beef cattle that little amount of plastic is not an issue (so they say). With milkers, breeders etc, it most likely will be problematic because of the longer life span.

Leaving the net wrap on the round bail is bad practice. Would you eat the plastic wrap off of your food

How much more does the fs1000 weigh than the fs700 and can the 700 get those super swamper tires and new conveyer? What diameter auger is on the 1000 and how does that mix vs the single 9ft in the 700?
@NDEcoTMR6 жыл бұрын
the FS1000D is around 10,000lbs heavier vs the FS700. Unfortunately the super swamper don't fit on the FS700. the new machines now come with the new conveyor. the FS100D is based off of an 8.5" floor and the FS700 is based off a 9'. both machine mix very well. With the FS1000D you are around 300cuft larger vs FS700
