Leggy seedlings need stronger sun and some wind. A reg. Lamp closer and light ocillating fan will make stronger starts. Leggy plants are actually weak even though they're so cute. Your doing great 👍🏽. Thanks for sharing ❤😊.

Save your seeds in a cool dark place. They last for years. Look ONLINE for $2.00 packages. Look up what garden zone your in, so you'll know when to plant. Save those extra seeds. 🎉😂❤ We all have the healthy addiction of seeds. It's part of being a gardener 😅. Next spring start/join a seed swap. Don't pick on you, it's all part of the learning curve.

Isn't it magical 🧚🏽♀️🌽. Your going to have so much fun. Check out snail seedlings. Looks interesting . Im going to try it.

Water well before transplanting. Corn hates to be moved. Consider planting in blocks not rows for pollination and transplant these into Halloween/fall decorations stocks. Corn gets weak stems from transplanting. Check out "square foot gardening" book. Your doing great🎉❤.

Thank you so much for the advice! I'll definitely look into that. I'm always learning.
@grannysweet18 сағат бұрын
@msyancynetwork me too. Always something to learn. Been gardening for 60+years. Grown in everything from a car to all the land I could work by hand. Old and fragile, now I rock water jugs in windows, hahaha 😁. I just saw seed snails and am going to start some marigolds in them this week. I want some flowers. What you planting this grow season ? Love love love your attitude and the vibrant Joy of your posts. Plant mint in containers so it doesn't take over ( I'm convinced it's 3 cousin to kudzu 😳 🤨 🤔). Grow what you like to eat. Keep sharing. 👍🏼👏🏽❣️🏵️🍓🦋🐞

Fungus would form if there isnt enough air flow.. so sprinkle a small layer of cinnamon and soil on top and wait a few days to water after that. and when you water, water it from the bottom and dont pour over the soil this time. keep the top soil dry as possible. i know this because i made the same mistakes but ive figured out this just from learning from others! happy gardening!

Thank you so much for the tip! I'll have to try that out!

It's gonna be so nice to have a record of this stuff in a few years time, and see how far you've come! making mistakes is a massive part of the process, and it's why we put on so many seeds at the beginning, bound to lose some along the way C: @@msyancynetwork

Thanks for the kind words. I'll do a follow-up video about sourcing seeds. you can check it out when it drops 😊 I didn’t use seeds for the bitterleaf though. I bought the stems from Etsy & planted them.
@marvanyema560812 күн бұрын
@msyancynetwork Thanks for getting back with me. Will you be selling stems? How many did you plant? I'm trying to start planting things since my husband is from Cape Palmas. Being America, I didn't grow up eating many of the food he eats. This is why I would like to try to plant and grow the food. I think I may start doing the habbernao and other seeds in March. I have a torn meniscus, and praying that I will be able to do a raise bed garden. Although your husband does not know me, please give him my greetings. Stay warm and take care of yourself. Do you eat fever leaves?
