Hmm as far as I know, there should be 1 screwdriver per vent so if you used one on a vent already, I believe there is another screwdriver you may have not found yet. if that is not that case, you should be able to restart the chapter or one of the prior check points.

I get on once a month and each time I haven't had issues finding a match fairly quickly. I'm unsure if it's real people though or not. I know some games have it where they use bots to fill in online matches at times but the player names seem real and when you go to look at the leaderboards there's still a lot of people active.
