Sweden is boring? The beauty of the country is amazing whether rural or urban. The pastries are fantastic and there are great restaurants. Everyone dresses well unlike those in unnamed country who dress as if they literally fell out of bed. They also accept people in the LGBT community and do not have religious extremists who go bat shit crazy over anything gay as in U S. And Christmas time has to be experienced. I live in the U S but my father and his family are Swedish . Someone once said Swedes are like cats. You have to earn their friendship but once you do, you're in.

I used to loathe snus when my friend used to put in its under lips and on one day he emphasised me to put snus at first it didn't feel anything but after a while it felt nice and now I'm addicted to it. 🤣

First of all, I must say that from my point of view, you look prettier than the average Swedish blond woman! In november this year, I go on holiday to Sweden for the eleventh time in my life. So I can't get enough of this groovy country (I live in The Netherlands). One of the weirdest things I experienced in Sweden time after time, that many Swedes are very contrary in terms of being friendly versus reserved. This means that I daily met Swedes who hardly made eye contact without any palpable occoasion while I did not behave distant myself. As well, there are also countless ones who were immediately very helpful to me without asking them to do so myself.

have you been outside Borås? Many things you state are swedish might just be common in borås, I eat hamburgers and pizza with my hands, and asking for water certainly does not mean bubbly water where I'm from.

We don't wear swedish flags because the PC-people think that, in doing so we offend the non-swedish population. The PC:s really go all-out in accomodating even the most outrageous demands of the immigrants (rarely) and the anti-racists (mostly). Christian symbols are being removed from churches. The word and the color black - not just as reference to a skin-color is taboo and even the national anthem is being deemed racist by the PC:s. Note: PC stands for Politically Correct.

Pizza on restaurants = knife and fork. At home as you like, I always slice (with a slicer or knife) it and use my hands. Burgers... I have never in my 56 years seen anyone using knife and fork eating a burger!
