Coltrane was spiritual. Jazz is spiritual.

It was the last call cue when a bartender of my favorite jazz cafe played the B side of this album, beginning with "God Bless The Child". But it was almost impossible for everyone there to do anything else besides listening to Geroge and Don's play till the end of the song. It is a good memory. Thanks.

First Adams/Pullen I ever heard. A lifelong love affair began that night.

アガさん曰く、ダイナミズム溢れる曲、伸びやかで躍動感のある曲、アグレッシブなフリーフォームの曲など刺激的な作品に仕上がっている。

adams always plays the same solo everywhere and all the time: screams, random phrases without any respect for the context and the other musicians. He is a lousy musician, like many in jazz, a music where crooks of his kind can make a career without any respect for the listener.

I believe George Adams was a truely great musician and humble in artistic work with others. And He could play and create with some freedom - guess this needed even for us listeners! / UW

I love how Mr Adams would sing ballads. These times of him in Mr Tyner's band could be sublime.
