How do u differentiate if it is a drive motor issue or a pump issue if one side is weak?
@kitsapmobiletractor11 күн бұрын
@@brett5778 well, Identify which side is the problem. Identify which half of the tandem pump is associated with the bad or slow side. Most likely it is a pump issue. I will say that a drive motor is rarely it. The problem because all it is internally is a wash plate and the housing. If you are able to scratch or groove the housing bad enough to damage the housing of the drive motor; you most likely have some heavy metal sparkles in your fluid. The pump however, all it takes is scratching that gold plate or getting those pistons stuck to drastically lower fluid flow. In this video the drive motor didn’t get weak, it blew the teeth off and broke the shaft. I generally find that a drive motor either works, or it’s failed 100%.

Thanks for the video. I do have a dingo tx1000, so this is helpful. quick question, if you don't mind. My dingo when at idle, creeps forward. Any idea what I should start looking for?
@kitsapmobiletractor20 күн бұрын
@@bootsy1968 yes. Creep is generally caused by the swash plate not being centered correctly. Where your pilot control lines connect on top of your tandem pump assembly, there’s generally a four bolt plate. That’s on one side of the tandem pump. That plate has an Allen center stud with a nut a jam nut on it. What you do is you crack that nut loose and you take an Allen key and you turn that Allen in or out to get the swash plate to change its angle. What you do is for example, there’s two sets of lines that go to that tan pump. Those lines are for left track and right track. You find the track that you wanna work on and you adjust that Allen screw and if the track starts to move faster turn the Allan key the opposite direction and see if it slows down and you turn it until it stops turning. once you found that zero point move the joystick and see if the track spins forward and reverse correctly and if it does, tighten that jam nut and you are set. Repeat the procedure for the other Trac with the other Allen screw and jam nut.

@@kitsapmobiletractor This is awesome! Thank you so much for the info. I have not look at the pump yet . I am guessing it is better to get the dingo on blocks so the tracks don't touch the ground and do the adjustment like this.
@kitsapmobiletractor19 күн бұрын
@@bootsy1968 correct. With the machine flat on the ground, shove a floor jack or thick blocks of wood in the center of the frame about Where the standing platform is. Basically so when you lower the loader down and tilt the bucket down, the machine will cantilever on the blocks and the bucket and now the tracks won’t touch the ground. I do the same thing to get skid steers off the ground to swap tracks.

I always, and there’s no written law, but I always run it around a few times after adjustment and recheck. Those type valves for some reason can move or settle in after an adjustment amd the clearance change. They’re aggravating to be sure but essential. Living in FL we need a genny ready all summer.

I'm trying to get more information from these websites and on the DPA5 interface that goes between the laptop and the tractor.

Has anyone looked at the software from Any EPC or Meca Programs? The screens look like the screens I've observed on the dealers diagnostic software.
@DarrenRust-b3f3 ай бұрын
Ya, there's not much out there on the diagnostic software. It appears that there is aftermarket stuff out there that looks very much like the dealer software. I posted this question on Tractor By Net in May, but got no response. If you google, "LS MTRON Tier4 Diagnostic Software", stuff comes up from Case/New Holland, but it requires a license. There is also stuff from Any EPC and Meca Programs that looks very much like the dealer software I've seen and it's $150. For me, the issue is that I'm not familiar with this interface. A DPA5 adapter is required between the PC and the tractor. Since you're already using Diesel Laptop, suspect you are already familiar with the necessary interface. I've played the Any EPC video, kzbin.info/www/bejne/aXuqf3yia9iFlZY, in slow motion and the screens look very similar to the dealer software that I've seen. As soon as I feel comfortable enough to buy the DPA5 interface, I'll probably get the software. Their direct loading is a bit of a concern and so far I not getting any response from them, so there are RED flags that I need to sort out.

Gotta look at 990 seems as if axle might of broke will drive with diff locked. But not without. Ever seen that happen or another common issue?????
@kitsapmobiletractor3 ай бұрын
@@jahsonferg5581 not sure what you are saying. Are you saying the rear won’t drive unless you press the diff lock lever?
@kitsapmobiletractor3 ай бұрын
Put the rear axle on jackstands. Have someone else put the tractor in drive or first gear at idle and let the rear wheel spin if the rear wheels are not spinning, press the rear diff lock lever. If it starts to spin but only on one side, that should mean that your differential is fine but most likely an axle shaft is either broken or the splines are stripped and you’ll know which side is bad because only one side will spin. My guess would be that the side that spins with the diff lever is the secondary and the one that isn’t spinning is your primary which is going to be the axle shaft that is used all the time and takes the most abuse.

Just a couple pointers. If you had left the wheel and tire installed on the opposite side it would have added weight (pendulum effect) and kept this side up in the air, easier to work on. You wouldn’t have had to stick the Jack stand under it. 2nd. There is a roll of polishing material we used to call crocus cloth. You could have rolled about 12” off, used it like a polishing belt and cleaned the sealing surface to a mirror finish. Great job though. I’m doing the same job on a smaller Kubota (B7500), last time about 13 years ago. The B’series seal has a wear ring on the sealing surface. You do need to be sure that sealing surface on the spindle does not have any fine cracks in it. It’s a common problem on all these tractors due to being worked so hard. They will really pour grease if cracked. If you check with the Kubota deal you will find the sales history reflects a lot of the spindles being replaced.

Hello. I have a customer brought me one of these tx1000 with a left side steering issue. Both sides are strong, not weak, same travel speed. However, the left side does not stop in either direction, unless you ,over the pilot control inthe opposite direction. So it's dangerous to operate, as you have to pull back on the pilot control or the left side keeps moving. Both forward and reverse directions. I swapped hoses onthe left and right pilot controls... And the problem stayed on the left side,(being controlled by the right pilot stick). The right side drive worked perfectly using the left side pilot stick. Soooo, that made sure then pilot controls are fine. Both hydros are strong and quiet. So I am assuming it is in the servo control part of the rear pump? Can the pump be repaired without removing? I can't seem to get the servo plunger out of the side. Thanks for any help!
@kitsapmobiletractor6 ай бұрын
Hello Mr. Kevin thanks for checking out the video! I will say that based on your description is probably probably the swash plate/angle plate that the revolver barrel looking part that is the piston pump; probably the angle plate is rotating but sticking, and most likely the top and bottom tip of that angle plate is being stuck in it’s bore. Unfortunately, your best bet is to remove the pump and put it on the bench and split it in half and then reach inside and grab that angle plate and see if you can push it left and right and it should when you let it go, it should spring back to center. If it doesn’t, you will have to figure out if it is sticking on the rotational top and bottom tip of this angle plate or if it’s something in the control pilot valve section that’s on top. That’s the part of the housing that looks kind of rectangular and has a four bolt cover on one side, which you have to undo the nut that jams the Allan and spin the stood all the way in until the cover falls off the. By that point you can inspect that brass plate that the revolver barrel rise on to create hydraulic pressure.
