how did you remove the protection from the flash memory?

Reflashed the camera. Shorted 5-6 pins of flash memory at the system boot stage.

the dji goggles 03 are real pieces of shit, compared to the quest 3, the real view FOV is so narrow you cannot see you hand in front of your face with the dji. dji make nothing with an hdmi out for the air unit. we need to be able to use quest 3 goggles and need a tuner. currently for analog u can get a usb tuner and download meta quest hdmi link. what you have is such great work, and a great foundation to help get people started on solving this. thank you for doing this.

Hi, you might want to test a SBC equiped with a Rockchip RK356x CPU (friendly elec has the NanoPi R5C (RK3568B2, wifi, 38 g w/o radiator, 2 GB or 4 GB RAM)), as it can transcode 1080p@60 fps. I have no idea of its latency though.

Noting that OpenHD is its own digital video framework for drones, which allows many types of cameras to broadcast HD video, and is completely different to OpenIPC, which only seems to use cheap IP cameras.

I searched for the least expensive digital FPV system and with the current prices it's actually Walsknail. Especially with a 20% discount code. I got the Goggles L for $159 and the Avatar Lite Kit (VTX + Camera+ Antenna) for $71. Try building a 1080p 60 fps 50 Mbit digital system for less. It even has 32GB internal memory on VTX to record your flights (the goggles use microSD cards).

pretty sure you can run multiple IP cameras and interlace their feeds at a lower bit rate to harvest a raw high FPS video at a much lower latency in the encoder. And you would still have some milliseconds to spare interlacing the video with clean frame generation between the radio latency and input latency. A very clean high FPS video with good latency is better than lower FPS video at the lowest possible latency, at least from inside the goggles flying it.

18:12 For most people, Drone is a hobby, for other, it's a way to defend themself against agresion. Unfortunately, for other, it's a way to track, invade and kill. Because of your accent, it's impossible to not think about theses as war weapon. You are obviously a very skilled and knowledgeable man. I hope your brain, this powerful tool, is use for the good of Humanity. Thumbs up for your impressive video, but it gives me a negative cold vibe. Love and peace from Montréal

@alexandrevaliquette38832 ай бұрын
@@EgorNiKO_ENG"Ukraine was the first to use FPV drone and ruined our hobby." Don't you think the main objective of Ukraine was to defend themselves against a superpower military invasion? If so, ruining the hobby was a side effect induced by Russia. To be honest, I don't know all the history and tension between Russia and Ukraine on the last 50 years. I'm genuinely curious to know the arguments of people who support Russian military invasion against such a lower power country. I do have Russians friends in Canada. They are all against Putin policies on this topic. They said Putin is a very charismatic, intelligent and knowledgeable person, just like Hitler was. The freedom of speech against Putin and Russian government is low and the corruption is high. Therefore, it's hard to get a fair information on local media and 'ordinary Russian citizen' cannot officially express their vote against this situation. I'm from Montréal, last time we got war here, the electricity was not discovered yet. I think we can always find a peaceful or diplomatic way to resolve any conflicts. The first to use physical violence against another nation is always wrong and should be stopped by the rest of the free world ASAP. At that stage, I support military (and FPV drone) as a defensive weapon. I can't differentiate a Russian accent from an Ukrainian accent or a bunch of similar (for me) accent with my untrained ears. I wish you the best. Again, you are a smart man, use your power for the benefit of Humanity in the broader sense as possible.
