Those are some good looking clubs. I saw these new generation but have been surprised at how few reviews there are of this newest design. I think all new clubs need some time to get them figured out. I’d be interested to see you play a round with them and get your observations. Thanks for making the video. Hit’em straight!

I will be doing that sometime soon..at least on the 9 hole par 3. That's the part of my game that needs the most work, so might as well do some club reviews working it out right? Lol

Use edel single length SLS-01 irons and love them. Went back to single length for consistency for me since I started playing golf with single length irons. Irons look good.
@CowboyGolfUSA12 күн бұрын
I've been semi interested in edel. Definitely would want to get fitted to use them. I tried some darkspeeds from cobra, hated them lol. Probably could have used a "professional" fitting for those as well. Sadly it's best to travel to one of the main HQ for many of those companies to get the best fit.

Lazarus has a hybrid/wood for sale. Is that a combination of a hybrid and a wood?.or more a wood.
@CowboyGolfUSA14 күн бұрын
Those are just the hybrids.
@Frank02014 күн бұрын
I am learning too. I don't go a full swing the end of the club to the belt, under chin, and it is a smooth flowing thing. Hips forward end up with the navel toward the sky. watch videos. . other than that think of it as an iron, just a little further from the ball. Use a mini tee until you get the feel of the ground, if your pals don't object, and even if they do. lol. I 'm also 5 6 how do you like these? I cant hit a driver. That is why I'm here may try a wood. for distance otherwise I,m done. lol Go about 50 percent power to practice then move up to 65 percent percent and hold there. I would go for these as a almost senior.
@CowboyGolfUSA14 күн бұрын
I can hit a driver. I was struggling with distance. Maxed out at 250, but far from the average. Played my first full round of 18 in 25 years and had 3 drives over 300 yards. For me, once I added a bit more wrist hinge, it seems to have propelled my drives quite a bit further. Even on the range I was hitting above 270. Hybrids I am getting better at. I haven't games the Lazrus ones yet, but have a pinhawk single length set that I played yesterday. They were a lot of fun and most of them i could hit ok. I am struggling with consistency...should be expected when I change clubs every day lol. My 9 hole par 3 rounds are mostly improving and that's the part of the game I need the most help on. Have a lot of footage from rounds that I may post or use as b roll. I may also reach out to a pga pro and see about lessons. Haven't had any in years so it probably wouldn't hurt me any lol
@Frank02014 күн бұрын
@CowboyGolfUSA wow good driver skills. Maybe you got used to that swing. Maybe hit the range and just work on irons and hybrids, since you already grasped the .driver. but yeah if I go 100 percent my 4 heavy old hybrid will go wonky..

How do these clubs perform in terms of yardage gapping...? Which set is best?
@CowboyGolfUSA18 күн бұрын
Yardage gapping is good. They aren't distance irons, but they are gapped pretty well. I favor the orlimars as far as the budget offerings. Will be doing a small showdown in some upcoming videos.

@CowboyGolfUSA Okay thanks. Look forward to seeing the comparison video.
@HK9418 күн бұрын
So, are cavities making them light, or does it make your swings perform better?
@CowboyGolfUSA18 күн бұрын
They move weighting lower in the club making the center of gravity lower and should make the ball get up in the air easier.
@chrisjuhl80119 күн бұрын
Have you tried Pinhawk?
@CowboyGolfUSA18 күн бұрын
Yes. Not the regular single length yet. I have a set of the single length hybrids and the dual length set. Also have their reverse arm lock putter. Will do videos on all of them. I want to hit them a bit more before I talk about them. So far I really like the hybrids.

@CowboyGolfUSAАй бұрын
That's for another video ;). There are some inconsistent hits with them being ladies flex shafts and my swing speed being quite a bit faster now than when I first got them. I currently have them being reshafted to a regular flex(though stiff may be closer to my speed). I will get some video of hitting them when I get them back from being reshafted.

@@CowboyGolfUSA - Was just a bit too long. I lost interest after about 3 min. (** I've just bought a set of these) A 5 min video would have worked.... (just some honest feedback mate.

You have to treat a hybrid like an iron. Use the same principles.
@CowboyGolfUSAАй бұрын
I appreciate that. I think the length of shaft is something I have to figure out. Ball placement in the stance, distance from the ball, ect. I tend to hit better with one length clubs in many cases. I know there are some one length hybrids out there, so they are on my list to try as well.

I have the 52, 56 and 60 wedges from Lazrus and I really like them. A little hard to hit on a full swing, but a 3/4 swing on each and they are great. For hybrids, I simply hit them the same as I would hit an iron of that loft and my 4 hybrid is my favorite club now
@CowboyGolfUSAАй бұрын
I like the wedges too. And having the 3 give some options in the bag. I have taken them(hybrids) back out to the range, better results than before. Will still take some getting used to. I don't think I will ever game a complete bag, but maybe the 3 or 4 to complement irons. Funny enough, my 2 favorite Lazrus clubs so far: driver and the 2 iron ladies. That 2 iron is so much for for me. I can't hit the 3 for some reason, but bomb that 2 and straight!

David Lake is a great guy and sells the 1irons at a reasonable price. But depending how much you play and especially how much you hit off mars, they are going to look like a dsisaster in 2 years or less. The finish will not hold up. There is no guarantee on the finish.
@CowboyGolfUSA2 ай бұрын
Yeah, I am betting the wear and tear will show fairly quickly. I still need to clean them up after my first session back on real grass in 20+ years. They hit great though. I just have to get more efficient in my swing. And with this channel I will probably go through clubs often. Right now these regals are one of my two favorite sets I have at the moment.

I took him to the driving range last night before it got dark. First time playing off of grass in like 20 years lol. They were even better from the grass and they were from astroturf. They swung great! They felt great! They have great balance! And for the most part once I got warmed up they were pretty consistent! They're definitely one of my favorites now! I have another set that I haven't done videos on that are right there with them! But yeah, I need to clean them now, lol
