I like this Mate But shouldn't the recipe started with 12 pints of Guiness first?...😆

@vincecotton127 😅😅 yes I think a 12 pints of Guinness appetiser would compliment this nicely 👌 😅

@Fasool_Ayheid-yx3ki this is actually a very simple recipe to follow, and alot of people on here have tried it and said it came out great so I don't think you really know what you're talking about

@@cookingwithstevethechef you don't realize what an ass pain this recipe is because you're a professional chef who, 1, can do this in your sleep, 2, who has the boatload of kitchen tools and utensils, which for me to buy, i could buy 100 loaves.
@cookingwithstevethechef2 ай бұрын
@Fasool_Ayheid-yx3ki well if can't follow a simple bread recipe, I think baking maybe isn't for you. Or if you can go online and find a more simple recipe for crusty italian bread then good 👍

Hey Steve like the chicken breasts eh
@lesliematthewcoleman4 ай бұрын
a very simple and delicious recipe which begs for variation. i sauted a celery stalk with the onions instead of wheat flour i used chickpea flour. two minutes before the spinach was added i added about half dozen fresh strawberries. i pairs well with a couple slices of sourdough bread. thanks. i'll be making it again befor the asparagus season ends
@cookingwithstevethechef4 ай бұрын
Thank you. This sounds like a good idea, I've never tried chickpea flour in soup, only in pakora and badji.

Looks lovely. My way... cheap and cheerful, waste not want not... If I cook up gammon, I keep the water, throw some onion in, then a tin of cheapy mushy peas, put in some pieces of the gammon, very tasty. _love_ your accent!

Simple ingredients , simple instructions and packed with flavor. This recipe suits me well as most are are to drawn out and frankly, too complicated. Canned beans are great in pinch , however dried beans soaked overnight brings it to new level. Adding the pasta toward the end works best as it absorbs all the flavors while simmering. This is really good comfort food right about now, especially here in northern New Jersey 🇺🇸 where the winters are bitterly cold. I must say that I never thought of minestrone as an elegant dish, but that final presentation was very pleasing to the eye . Wonderful presentation. Hope you had a Happy Christmas and cheers for the new year. 😊
@cookingwithstevethechef10 ай бұрын
Thank you very much for your feedback, appreciate it 🙏. I agree its definitely better to soak the beans overnight and cook them yourself but for quickness I think tinned beans are okay. I personally prefer to cook the pasta separately for this just to remove some of the starch but it's absolutely fine to cook it in soup aswell. Hope you had a good Christmas and happy new year when it comes.
